"Alright, I'm confused. Why does a book have anything to do with the house?" I asked.

"The book is something that we both had encountered when we first started the house together. Dawn, me, Delilah and Daniel ."

"Delilah and Daniel? Who is that?"

"My little brother and sister."

"Ohhhh okay. But what does that have to do with-"

"We were the originals before the originals. We created that house. Every wall, every design, every room. The angels put us in charge because they trusted that we would do the right thing with it. They each gave us assignments. I was the overseer, Delilah was about beauty, love and being the comforter, Daniel was the muscle and Dawn..."

"Was the house mother?"

"No. She wasn't the house mother."

"Then, what was she?"

"She was the brains. Super smart. That's why she had the book so that she could write every little thing humans go through and find a better solution for them. So, she sent us. And when things became too much for us, that's when you all came into the picture. More spirits. More humans to save. It was all going great, that was until..." She hesitated and turned away from me.

"Until what, Auntie Dianna?"

She took a deep breath and said, "Until Leo."

"Leo? But, he's the house father of the Red Box."

"I know."

"Then why?-"

"Leo used to be apart of the Nude Bridge family."

Whoa, wait a minute? Leo?

"What are you talking about?"

"Leo met Dawn through Delilah. Of course, Him and Delilah were very much in love. But Dawn thought that their relationship was going to distract her from her assignments. So, she.... she gave her an ultimatum. Either she breaks up with Leo or leave Nude Bridge. Delilah was already sprung and she didn't want to let him go. So, Delilah and Leo both decided to leave, then Daniel. I only stayed a little while longer until, she reached her "crazy" point."

"What do you mean?"

"She was the one that came up with this 'house mother', 'house father' crap. She changed everything. She sought out to be this all perfect being with the perfect house. It got so out of control that she didn't really need me anymore. So, I left before the sun rose, the next morning and I haven't been back since."

"Okay but, what does this have to do with the book?"

"Before I left, I went to go to her office and give her a goodbye letter. But I had this feeling that there was something that Dawn wasn't telling me because of how she was acting. Her book was laid open on her desk and I saw something that might be the cause of it."

"Well, what was it?"

"It had the words 'POWER' written in red ink on it. I don't know why, I don't know how. I just know that it can't be good."
