"Well...I'm guessing you do?"

"Yes. Star is not the person that you think she is."

"Well, let's just say that what you're saying is true. Who was her husband? Do you know him?"

"Yes actually, I do. His name was Nova."

"Nova?"

"Yes. They were married for three years before he died...such a tragedy for them."

"He died? Well, what happened to him?"

"He was killed."

"Yes...by his lover."

"Mhm, he cheated on her around the second year of their marriage and, she had such a guard put up around her heart..." My eyes begin to water and my voice started to crack from the memories that took place.

"Anyway, she told me what happened after she found out, and let's just say that it ended with the lover shooting him in the back, right in front of her."

"Oh wow, that's...that's devastating."

"Yes, it is."

"Well, did she know who she was?"

"I don't know, she didn't say much after that."

"Oh.."

"But hey, you never know who you're dealing with sometimes, right?" I asked sarcastically.

That's tragic. I mean, don't get me wrong, I've been cheated on before but, I don't see how this has anything to do with Dawn.

"Out of curiosity, uh...what does this have to do with me exactly?" I asked.

"Because I'm trying to get you to understand that...she's not herself right now and...I just don't want her to get hurt again, alright?"

"Ok, I understand that but, Star is a good girl from a good...realm? And I think you're blowing this whole thing out of proportion between the two of us. Besides, I don't even think what you're saying is true."

"Well, it is."

I scoffed, "yeah, whatever you say, Dawn."

I cannot believe this lady right now, she cannot be serious.

"Well, just listen to what else I have to say, at least?"

I shook my head before saying, "Alright, about what?" The beating around the bush is kind of annoying to say the least about it.

"Well, I just wanted to say that, because she met you...it'll change everything."

"What do you mean?"

"It'll change everything...about you...about your life."

"My life has already been changed, what else is new?" I mentioned.

"No, it'll change the minute...the minute you die."

Wait, excuse me? What did she just say? Did she just say 'die'?!

"Die?! What do you mean, die?!"

"Exactly what I said, so that means that you and Star cannot be together, alright?"

"I-"

"Just take what I am saying to heart please, because believe it or not, I actually want this to end in good faith."
