At the bridge, I put the gun to my head and constantly played the scene of what happened to Aura over in my head. The pain in my heart caused me to want to pull the trigger and end all of the worry from here on out. With tears streaming down my face, I poured my soul out and asked for God to send me a sign from anyone or anything, maybe even my father.
Dad,
I know that you are probably disappointed in me right now. After what happened to Aura, I feel that my purpose and my music have reached its end. I just need something to give me the confidence or the love that I had for it back. Mom hasn't spoken to me in a few days and I wonder if she's thinking about leaving too. I think I might have beat her to the punch with it though. Please tell me what to do. I don't know how much longer I can do this. I need love again.
With the gun still aimed to my head, I was just about to pull the trigger. Until I heard a voice of laughter that would cling to my ears. Intrigued by the voice, I slowly let down the gun and wandered to see where that voice was coming from. With every step that I took, the voice seemed to be more present in hearing and I looked to see which direction the voice was coming from. Suddenly, I turned around to see a woman, laughing to herself in her own thoughts. She seemed to be in a daze about something and it caused me to become curious.
"Oh my dear friends of night, I hope that you are well..." Who is she talking to? No one's here.
She giggled and looked up at the night sky, "I'm doing fine. But I need to ask you something. What have I truly came here for?" A deep silence came over and I stared at her to find that her eye left a sparkle in it when she smiled. How intriguing.
"That's it? You're just going to not say anything?" She took off her hat and her dark black hair shined under the light. By rubbing her fingers through her hair, she looked up to see me.
Our eyes locked together and I felt her energy within the smirk that she gave me and suddenly, we both heard a honk of a horn. Startled, she disappeared in thin air and the sound was getting louder and louder to see that the car of the honking sound actually belonged to Miko and Levi.
They got out the car and told me that we needed to head to the club. I asked them how come and they said that I needed to hurry because the place was flooded. Hurriedly, I followed them by my motorcycle and stopped midway to see that the girl left something behind at the rock that she was sitting on. I got off the bike and went to pick up the something that caused me to become intrigued with who this mysterious woman was. By reading it, I felt as if this was missing something that I needed to accomplish as a mission.
Dad,
I think I just found that love again.
