I grabbed both of our bags and handed Aidan his backpack, after he locked the car. He took it out of my hands, and gave me a weak smile. We both started walking towards the building. The hotel was called, Welcome Inn. When we walked in, a beautiful girl, with her dark blue hair in a ponytail, had a great smile on her face. "Hi, welcome to New York's Welcome Inn, do you two already have a room booked?" Noemi said (yes, I read her name tag). "Uh, yes, for Aidan. Aidan Gallagher?" He said. Noemi looked at the computer that was in front of her, and clicked on her mouse and keyboard a few times. "Yes, room 204, on the third floor." She said, as she handed Aidan our room key. "Thank you." I said, as I smiled at her. "You're welcome, and enjoy your stay!" She cheered. Aidan and I went to the elevator, and Aidan pressed the button. "You have a beautiful singing voice, Y/N." Aidan said to me. I looked at him, and then the elevator doors opened. We both stepped in, and I pressed the button that had a bolded number three on it. The elevator doors closed, and we started to move up. "Thank you. Your voice is beautiful as well." I said. The doors then opened, and we stepped out. I was the first one to walk out and I started to lead the way (for once). We kept walking until we were halfway down the hall. "This is it!" I said, as Aidan was still catching up (I guess I was walking too fast).
Aidan put the key card to the handle, and we heard it unlock. Aidan turned the knob, and pushed the door open. We stepped in, and I closed the door behind us. When we walked past the bathroom, we were shocked at what was in the room. There was only one bed. I was already having mixed feelings about Aidan, and now I have to share a bed with him? There wasn't even a couch! There was only a small chair that looked like it would give your body a huge sore if you tried to sleep in it. There was also an office chair, but I know that none of us would want to sleep in that. Aidan walked over to the bed and claimed his side, by setting his bag on the right. I then walked over, and set my bag on the remaining side. "Do you wanna talk about what happened on the plane, and how you knew that Mattia was working for your dad?" I asked, as I sat down on the bed, and crossed my legs.
"My dad's symbol for his mafia is a rottweiler. I don't know the reason why, but that's what it is. I saw Mattia's tattoo when he faced me on the plane. Every member of my dad's mafia, including himself, has a rottweiler on their neck." Aidan told me, as he sat down on the office chair. "What's the mafia called?" I asked him. "The Alliance." Aidan answered, as he started to move the chair side to side. "How are we going to know where he is, and what moves he takes? I might not know much about mafia's, but I do know that it's not easy." I said. "Yeah, it's not." Aidan replied, as he stopped moving, and started to look out the window. I looked out the window as well and then back at Aidan. Aidan squinted his eyes a little, and moved closer to the window.
"Is everything okay?" I asked, as I was watching him take his few steps. Aidan quickly closed the dark red curtains, and put his back against the wall. "What the hell?" I said. Aidan put his fingers to his lips, and pointed at me, and then the closet. I understood what he wanted me to do, so I quietly got off the bed, and went into the closet. I closed the door, and the only little light I could see was under the door. I heard Aidan's footsteps walk over to the door (to leave the room), and open it. "What the hell do you want?" I heard him say. "What? I can't say hi to my boyfriend?" A girl's voice said. Boyfriend?! I said in my head. I don't know why I felt so upset, and I shouldn't be, because there is no way that I'm falling for Aidan. "I'm not your boyfriend." Aidan said, sounding very annoyed (which for some reason made me feel better). "I broke up with you, because you cheated on me, Hannah." Aidan said. "You still mad about that?" Hannah said, sounding like she's the innocent one.
I heard something slam against the wall (beside the closet), and I knew that Aidan did that to Hannah. "If you don't tell me why you're here, I will not hesitate to put a bullet through your fucking skull!" Aidan shouted. "Fine," Hannah said, giving up, "Your daddy wanted me to give this to you." She teased. "Great, now get the fuck out." Aidan said. Hannah didn't say anything, but I knew she left after Aidan slammed the door. I walked out of the closet and closed it when my feet were next to Aidans. "What did she give you?" I asked, as Aidan took a seat on his side of the bed. He opened up the envelope, started reading through, and then he set it on the bed. "I'm gonna take a shower." Aidan said, as he grabbed some clothes from his bag. He walked into the bathroom, and slammed the door (which made me jump a little).
I heard the water running, while I took the envelope into my hands. I sat on the bed, and started to read through:
