A few months later, Aidan and I are happily living together. As of right now, Nessa, Stacey, Spencer and Ace are over at our house, and we're preparing for a movie night. We are all in our pajamas and doing different things. Nessa is making popcorn in the kitchen, and Aidan is in there as well, making hot chocolate. I started to get really happy that they were getting to know each other. Spencer and Stacey are setting up the blankets and everything, and Ace and I are trying to pick out a movie. "Wait, so, you're telling me that you have never seen The Emperor's New Groove?" I said, in disbelief. "Yeah, I haven't." Spencer overheard, and said, "You know what, Ace, I don't think this is going to work out." Ace started to laugh at her comment. "Okay, I guess we decided on a movie." Ace said, as we both got up. "Popcorn and hot chocolate are ready!" Aidan cherred, and he and Nessa were walking in the living room. Everyone sat down where they wanted to be, and Nessa and Aidan passed out the food and drinks. When they were done with that, they finally sat down.
Aidan, Nessa, Stacey, and I were sitting on one big couch, and Ace and Spencer were sitting on a smaller one. "Wait, Aidan, I have to give you something." I smiled. "Okay." Aidan responded. We both got up, and went into the kitchen. "What is it?" he asked. I pulled out his airpods case, from my pocket, and placed it in his hands. Aidan looked at it, and then up at me. "Y/N, this picture is beautiful." I painted a picture that was half sun, and half moon. He pulled me in for a hug, but then pulled away, as we made our way back to the living room. Aidan and I sat down, and Aidan played the move, as I rested my head on his left shoulder. Aidan gently kissed me on the head, and whispered to me, "See? This is the type of life I wish I could have grown up with. This is so much better." "How?" I smiled. I'm only asking, because I know that if he does talk about it, then it's gonna make him really happy.
"Well, I finally have friends that care. Nessa is now my best friend." "Your gay one! Don't forget that!" Nessa whispered over to us, which made us laugh. "And, I have you." He said. "Although you never grew up like this, you should be happy that you're living it now." I said. Aidan kissed me, and then we continued to watch the rest of the movie, but this time, we were both surrounded by people who actually cared about us.
