Chapter. 6

"Ate Jane" as i held her arms, para pigilan sya. "What's the problem?" I maybe a new student but she is already one of my friends, she introduced me at this University.

"I-i" Nasa isang place kami na walang kaestu-estudyante, tanging ako lang at si Ate Jane. "About Kuya Mark right?" As she looked at me sadly, and nodded slowly.

"Sit, and tell me everything okay?" As i held her hands and she sighed lowly.

"Actually, Me and Mark was an ex-couple" i nodded and continued to listen at her. "We dated for 2 years. And we became one of the most popular couple here at the University" as she slowly sobs, i rubbed her back to calm her down.

"Everything was fine, until one of her classmates told me that she saw Mark kissing and hugging someone at BGC" Hindi nya na napigilang humagulgol.

"Ako naman, i observed him for days. Wala namang nagbabago, until one day. He became more colder and doesn't hang out with me anymore. Nagbago ang pakikitungo nya sa akin" Damn, that's sick. Medyo nasaktan ako nung hinawakan nya ang isang necklace sa leeg nya.

"I confronted him about it. Saying what his classmate told me, kaso nagalit sya. Nauwi sa break-up. I've been depressed at those times, especially all of my family was on abroad, i pursued studying Law here dahil maganda ang pagtuturo nila dito sa University na ito"

"Wala akong makapitan sa panahong iyon. Napabayaan ko ung studies ko, to the point na bumagsak lahat ng Grades ko at every academic subjects we had" She looked away, and wiped her tears.

"Naging tanga ako. Marami ding students ang nakipagbreak sa Engineering students due to reasons na nahuli nila ang jowa nila with other girls" I looked at her pitying.

"Everyone thought that this is a curse. They even called it a 'The Forbidden love between Law and Engineering' i laughed silently.

"As we broke up, marami ding Law students ang nagalit sa Engineering because of how they became so defensive at everything. Like nung naglaban ang Law vs. Engineering sa intrams. Maraming Engineering students ang nagalit nung time na nanalo ang department natin" she laughed quietly.

"Sana naman, Vee. If ever you dated Danerie, Can you end this curse already?" I looked at her surprised and blushed.

"Luh- Ate Jane naman. Dun sa mokong Danerie na yon?" Nakalimutan ko na ung nawawala ko phone. She laughed and patted my shoulders.

"Una palang yan Vee. Ganan din kami ni Mark noon, Magkagalit nung una pero naging kami sa huli" hinampas ko naman sya ng mahina at inikot ang aking paningin nung nakita ko si Danerie sa likod ni Ate Jane.

Nakatingin sa amin.

"Anong ginagawa mo dito?" I asked sternly. He smirked and inserted his hands at his pocket, only to hold my fuckin' phone.

"Gago!? Akin ba yan!?" He grinned and gave me the phone. He waved at Ate Jane while Ate Jane did it back.

"Iwanan ko na kayong dalwa dyan, I have to do something" as she stood up from the bench and waved at us.

And winked?

Pagkaalis na pagkaalis ni Ate Jane ay naibaling ko ang paningin ko kay Danerie na hawak-hawak parin ang phone ko.

Tumabi naman sya sa akin at ngumiti.

"Here's your phone Mahal" Cringe.

"Mahal mo yang mukha mo" As i snatched my phone at his hands. "Nakuuu, san ka ba pumunta ha? Nag-alala ako para sayo" Napatingin ulit ako kay Danerie pero may natatawang ekspresyon ito.

"Wala bang Thank you dyan?" I sighed because i lost at this freaking argument. "Thank You" halatang pilit pero sige.

He smirked and puts his arms around my Shoulders. "Danerie! Tumigil ka" nabibig-atan ako shuta.

"Looks like Law and Engineering will be okay soon" as i looked at him. Ang lapit ng mukha namin, as in like legit.

"Umayos ka nga!" I removed his arms "But yeah, hopefully they make up. Nakakapagod din kayang layuan ng Engineering" As i murmured.

Silence for some minutes. "Are you aware that our families was enemies?" He suddenly asked out of nowhere.

"Yeah, Pero I'm glad your dad let me study here. Hindi nya tayo dinadamay sa gulo nila. But i heard that the two families were Uniting soon" Kahit May Away sila, Away matanda lang talaga.

"I need to go right now. May meeting kaming mga Law students, Salamat pala sa pagbabalik ng Phone ko" I smiled at him.

He nodded at me and gave me his popular smile.

We waved at eachother before parting ways.
