I could barely see through my tears. I was driving and wiping at my face, but as soon as I wiped the tears away, new ones fell. I was going to the only person I knew I could turn to and as I pulled up I ran to the door, banging.
The door opened and Sally stood there, looking shocked.
"Jesus Gabby, what is it, what's wrong?" She demanded, wrapping her arms around me, trying to comfort me.
"Again." I cried. "It happened again."
"What, what happened again?" She asked. "Come in here and calm down Gabby, you need to breathe."
Breathe. I really did need to breathe but I couldn't, I couldn't get air.
She lead me over to the couch, trying to get me to sit, but I couldn't, I couldn't breathe and I grabbed the front of her shirt.
"Arin." She screamed.
Arin came in and he grabbed me.
"Call Matt." Sally told him.
Oh god no, no, not Matt.
"No." I screamed.
"Gabby, please." Sally said.
And I couldn't breathe and I could see my vision darkening.
"He cheated." I managed to get out, then everything went black.
The last thing I heard was Sally yelling at Arin to call an Ambulance.
I opened my eye's to a strange man leaning over me.
"Just breathe." He said calmly. "Try not to talk."
I had on an oxygen mask and I looked around, trying to remember how I got here.
Matt. Matt was how I got here.
"Oh god." I cried.
"Gabrielle, you need to stay calm."
I couldn't stay calm. How could I stay calm?
Matt. Matt had betrayed me. Why would he do that?
"Gabrielle." The man snapped. "Look at me."
I looked at him and I tried to breathe but it was happening again. My chest was tight and my vision was going black.
And my heart.
My heart was breaking.
