"I'll go."
"No Matt, honestly it's fine." I told him. "I'll go, I don't mind."
"Are you sure?" He asked me.
"Very." I murmured kissing him.
"Please don't be long then." He whispered, pulling me down onto his lap.
I was so stupid, I'd gone to get groceries and forgotten milk, milk of all things.
"Are you going to let me go?" I asked him smiling.
"No." He murmured kissing me again.
I was happy to stay right here kissing him but the milk.
"Can we continue this when I get home?"
"I'll be waiting Gabby."
"Good." I said kissing him quickly. "I love you."
"And I love you, now hurry."
I smiled, grabbing my keys and heading to my car.
How could I have been so stupid, forgetting milk of all things, I thought as I drove, what an idiot.
I got to the store and ran in quickly, grabbing the milk. I paid for it then headed back to the car, as I approached it, I noticed a familiar figure leaning against it.
"Gabby." Kate said as I approached. "How are you?"
"Fine thanks." I said.
I really wanted to go, but she was leaning on the drivers door.
"Glad to hear it." She told me. "I'm sure you won't be for long."
"I'm sorry?" I asked her, not sure if I heard correctly.
"I said." She hissed, leaning towards me. "You won't be feeling good for long."
What was she talking about?
"Oh and Gabby." She said, as I heard someone approach me from behind. "Meet Carlos."
Before I could do anything, before I could reply, before I could turn around, whoever it was grabbed my arm, squeezing tightly and they stuck something in my back.
"Don't say a fucking word." He hissed. "It's a gun."
Jesus Christ, he had a gun in my back.
"Silly Gabby." Kate said grinning. "You actually didn't think you were going to get away with it did you?"
Before I could ask what a van pulled up beside us, and I was shoved roughly inside, dropping the damn milk.
"My milk." I cried.
"Your milk is the last of your problems." Carlos told me.
What was going on?
"I can't believe you're worried about your milk." Kate laughed, from the front of the van.
I looked at the gun that was that pointed at me.
"Sit there and shut up." Carlos told me.
So I did. I never said a word, sitting in silence. I had no idea where we were going, but we drove for awhile. Finally we came to a stop.
"Out." Carlos said, poking me with the gun.
Surely it wasn't loaded!
We were at a house that I didn't recognize and Carlos grabbed me, shoving me roughly inside.
"Sit down." He growled, pushing me onto a chair.
Suddenly my arm's were grabbed and pulled roughly behind me.
I cried out, it hurt, as they tied my hands.
"Shut up." Kate snapped. "You asked for it."
I had a horrible feeling in my stomach and for the first time I felt scared.
"Is this some kind of joke?" I asked Kate.
"Carlos." She said.
Carlos? I was asking her.
Pain suddenly exploded on my face. Jesus, Carlos had hit me.
"Did that feel like a joke?" Kate asked.
I blinked back tears, looking at her. It was difficult, one of my eye's were swelling.
"Stupid Gabby." She hissed, bending over to look at me. "You ruined my life, you took my man, now you pay."
Was she serious?
"And guess what Gabby?" She asked smiling. "Who do you think will be there to console Matt over your death."
"I'm sorry." What did she just say?
"Oh Gabby, you always were stupid. This is it. You fucked with the wrong person."
She looked at Carlos and nodded.
Pain exploded in my head, then I saw stars.
I tried to open my eyes but I couldn't.
Darkness engulfed me.
