Annie led her group down a street, the buildings starting out as run down triple-decker apartments, slowly becoming Victorian style houses. Annie stopped in front of a maroon house with black trim, taking out her key and unlocking the door. Hex was the first one inside, not bothering to slip off his dirty, black Converse that had seen better days. Bonez allowed Annie inside next, holding the door for both her and Armando. Annie unbuckled her boots and hopped out of them, suddenly being three inches shorter than Armando and a foot shorter the Bonez.
"This, Armando, is my house. We do all our practices here. My mum isn't home right now but the second she is, expect to have any food you want made. She likes to keep my friends and I happy and she does that through food." Annie smiled up at him and Armando nodded, seeing how small she is. Hex walked over to the couch and sat down, putting his feet on the coffee table, smirking smugly when Annie glared at him.
"What? It was a long walk. Let the fucking king put his feet up." he said, letting out a soft laugh. Annie sighed and took Bonez and Armando to the couch. Bonez picked Hex up easily and held him in his lap.
"No." Bonez spoke softly before going silent again, Hex taking his feet of the table and holding onto Bonez's hoodie. Armando sat down, staying tense.
"Relax, relax, you're okay. Would you feel better if we gave you some space kid?" Annie asked, placing a hand on Armando's shoulder. He nodded and moved to sit on the floor.
"So, kid, what's your whole deal? Got a boyfriend?" Hex said with a soft smirk, brushing his hair out of his eyes and clipping it back, revealing a forehead speckled in small, white scars. Armando looked away.
"Kind of...." Hex laughed loudly "What is so fucking funny to you?"
"Holy shit you just admitted how fucking gay you are!! I didn't expect it to be so easy!!" Hex laughed until he began to cough, Bonez patting his back softly.
"Hex. Out. Go sit in the kitchen." Annie said, her voice firm. Hex shrugged and left the room, hopping onto the kitchen counter and playing with the dish soap. Annie turned back to Armando, who looked slightly uncomfortable. "Don't let him get to you...he's not the best guy but he's not all bad..he's just trying to get a reaction out of you..."
"I'm fine. It doesn't bother me."
