"Armando..there's a legend in this town..we're not surprised you don't know it.." Annie said softly. "Your home...it all started back when she came to this town. Your adoptive mother that is. She just showed up and bought that house. She..she had a son a few years later...people saw him in the windows, just staring. Then one day..well...something changed..people saw her digging in her yard in the dead of night...rumours spread that she..." Annie looked away.
"That her son had died. Armando, that boy you're describing...that's her son...her dead son..you're dating a ghost. New low man...new low..." Hex shook his head. Armando's eyes widened and he grips the couch.
"No. You're wrong. He's as real as all of us are and I can prove it. Just..just come to my house, Ms. Wells is working I think..please..please come meet my boyfriend..." Armando stood up and looked at Annie. "Please Annie...please..."
"Armando...okay..we'll come with you..guys, get dressed and put on your shoes, we can walk from here.." the group did as they were told and Armando lead them to the house in silence, unlocking the door with difficulty before taking everyone inside. The group quietly made their way through the house and into Armando's room. The bed was empty and piles of clothes, stuffed animals and blankets covered half the room.
"Kid, there's no one in here..." Hex spoke. Armando shook his head and stepped further into the room. The group watched as he shifted some blankets and clothes, smiling softly and crouching down.
"Everett..my love..I know it's early but it's time to wake up sweet thing..c'mon, up you go.." Armando picked the figure of a boy up and carried him over to the bed. He pet his head and kissed his cheek. "You have visitors my love.."
"Holy shit...he's not crazy..." Hex spoke softly, leaning to Bonez. Bonez just nodded as Everett groaned and peeked his eyes open, smiling when he saw Armando's smiling face.
"Hey babe..what's going on...is everything okay...?" Everett slowly sat up and waved to the group, hiding his face in Armando's chest.
"Of course..everything is fine...guys, this is Everett..my boyfriend..."
