Scorpius was getting home from work for the weekend, exhausted after his final class.

"Hello there, professor", Albus greeted with a smirk.

"Hi", Scorpius said and kissed his lips softly.

"Did the children behave?" Albus asked.

Scorpius sighed. "Don't even remind me", he said. "Also I smell like crap so I need a shower. We'll talk more later, okay?"

"Okay", Albus said getting the hint that Scorpius needed some time by himself, which he understood.

After his long relaxing shower Scorpius slipped on some underwear and threw himself in bed, where Albus was waiting for him. They turned to face each other.

"So how was your day?" Scorpius asked.

"Just paper work all day", Albus said. "I see why my dad hated it. You?"

"One of the third years raged in my class today. It went so bad I had to send them to the headmistress."

"Yikes", Albus said.

"I've also been so busy this week I barely had time to check on Tori", Scorpius continued. "It's not really the same to see her in class considering I must treat her like any other student."

"She did write to me the other day", Albus said. "She said she was doing well. That she's made some great friends."

"I've noticed that. She mosly hangs out with Bella, but I've seen them with some others too. She seems to really like them."

"That's great", Albus said. "Glad she's enjoying herself."

"We're having a ball for Halloween", Scorpius added. "For the forth years and above. I'm thinking of not going and instead take Tori to Hogsmeade."

"You should definitely do that. Some father and daughter time is never wrong."

"Wish I could take you too. But I know you're busy at work."

"I think it's best if it's just the two of you. I'll take her out some other time."

"I'm sure she misses you a lot."

"Better enjoy that time while we have it huh?" Albus joked. "Soon she's going to be a teenager thinking we're super embarrassing around her."

"Oh, you wanna bet?" Scorpius said. "I was her best friend when she was four, and she said I'd always be."

Albus laughed. "Remember when we were at that age?" he said.

"Do you mean us being each other's only friends, screwing up time, or teenage boyfriends?"

"All of it, I guess", Albus said. "Mainly just being kids. Not thinking about work or any other responsibilities. Not even thinking about the future."

"I guess I just forgot to enjoy it", said Scorpius. "The way I kept acting more grown up than I actually was."

"One of the things I've always loved so much about you."

They smiled at each other. Scorpius felt like he could fall asleep any minute. Albus leaned in for a soft kiss. Scorpius kissed back. Albus moved closer and Scorpius could feel his body touching his. He felt his tongue swiping into his mouth. He could honestly do this for a bit. Suddenly he felt Albus's hand starting touching him. He stopped him.

"What's wrong?" Albus asked in concern.

"Albus, look. I've missed you a lot, and doing stuff. Just... not tonight."

"Oh", Albus said layed flat on his back looking up at the ceiling.

"I wanna do it some time. I'm just really exhausted right now."
