School yard puck pt.2

We line up opposite the other boys there. "My little brother Russ here says you guys have been choking; big time" a tall version of the boy known as Russ says. "You're brothers got a big mouth" I smirk leaning on my stick fist bumping Jesse. They all go quiet... "he does doesn't he" Russ brother pushes Russ a little. "We thought we'd call y'all out see what ya got" one of the other kids says. "Yea we know you can talk to the press and sign autographs and stuff" Russ says "we can do more than that" Luis adds "and we'll teach you how to play like the real team USA" the older Russ adds. "What would you know about it" Dean says annoyed "let's play you'll find out" we spilt off and we start our teams, almost immediately Dean gets shoved into the fence "earn every inch" Russ' brother shoves Dean down and goes off "don't stand there come and get it" Russ passed the puck to his brother "don't mind if I do" Luis speeds by taking the puck to the "goal" which is really a tipped over trash can. He scores but can't stop crashing into the fence. "Ouch" o wince at Luis talking to an older boy Luis shakes his head and trades places with me. "Alright you wanna push my team around" I look to Russ' brother and use all my weight to check him into the fence "Damn girl you're strong" he smiles patting me on the shoulder. "Damn straight" Fulton yells from the bench smiling at me. "Take a few breaths slug some water get out there and do it again" Russ chucks charlie his water Charlie drinks it throws it back to me and scores! "Alright Fulton" I yell once fulton starts his slapshot puck hits the side of he trash can crashing someone windshield. "Excuse me can you pass it back please" Charlie yells. "Alleyoop" the pucks back in Charlie takes i scoring again! "Alright" Fulton trades for Ken and he does some fancy figure skating jump passing to Dwayne and score! "Sweet moves Kid Russ' brother starts going at Kenny threatening him then he stops "nah I'm just playing when someone comes at you like that you do this" he looks at Kenny "stick! Gloves! Shirt!" And he pulls kens shirt over his head. "My turn" Ken does the same and we all cheer for him. "Alright USA play hard" we walk away and get on our bus that was fun. "Haven't had that fun of a game in a long time" I look to Charlie "yea not sure why but your dads a buzz kill" he says sitting beside me "he'll get over it ms McKay went to talk to him today and I called someone in" I smile "who?" Charlie asks "you'll see" I smile and put on my headphones drowning out the noise of the bus
