"We have a game we've got to get to the locker room" I say even though I don't want to go. "He prepared for captain blood" avermen states as we step into the locker room... no coach. "Dad" I yell into the locker room no answer. "Maybe he's on the ice" Dwayne says and starts getting changed, we all get ready and Charlie starts a pep talk. "Look sure coach is off the rails crazy right now but I'm still the captain and I know we can do this it's going to go well and we are going to win this game and make the finals!" We all then skate into the ice. No coach. "Where's Bombay Lexi" Luis asks me "if only I knew" I sit on the bench and a ref skates off "USA without a coach you forfeit" he starts I was going to say something but Charlie did "we have one max McKay" he skated over to the glass he whispers something the ms McKay yells "what're you waiting for the ice to freeze let's play!" Then game on ms McKay or coach McKay joins us in the box it's me Charlie Adam and avermen on the bench "we look tired" she says biting her nail "new players" I look at her confused "replace the ones on the ice" "Ohhh" Charlie adds "say change it up" Charlie tells her she says it quietly "scream it" I tell her "CHANGE IT UP" she yells and me and Adam trade places with Luis and Ken "cool" she smiles. "Ready bash family" I yell to Dean and Fulton across the ice "Ready bash babe" Fulton and I check a guy into the wall whole Dean takes the puck he takes it to the net and score! Then I hear a sound I thought I'd never hear again the duck call. "No don't" Jesse stops me from going over "what do we have to lose" I say looking at my dad coming down he blows the whistle again. "Our pride" Fulton says annoyed, "bring it in!" My dad yells calling timeout we all slowly skate over. "Look guys I'm sorry" my dad starts. "I've had a lot of distractions here and I want another chance please" my dad finishes "after this game is over I'm making you prove it" I flip my helmet down and skate away. My dad nods to me and I take the face off.
