We ended up winning that game we were in the finals.we end up changing and sitting in the locker room. "Guys although it might be hard he did leave us I say we hear my dad out and if it's a load of bullshit we leave" I say to the room "I agree he's our coach and we wouldn't be here without him" Charlie adds "I'll do it" Fulton stands up "he taught me hockey" avermen stands up "us too" Guy says standing up with Connie. "He's the reason I'm not scared of the puck" Goldberg joins us; "without him I would still be figure skating" Kenny stands up with us. "Look Jesse please man" Adam stands up "cake eater deserves a shot right" Adam says "you gave me one because of Bombay" Adam smiles "alright fine" Jesse says joining the group ad we meet outside. "Alright dad what have ya got" I say sitting on the picnic table "well Jan's here has told me some things helped me realize some things too" my dad says then Charlie whispers to me "is that the someone" "sure is" I smile he fist bumps me and we listen to my dad "this is a distraction" he hold up a cardboard cutout of himself. We all laugh "this is a fire in a barrel" he lights a match and throws it in a metal bin. He has Jan's hand him the cardboard him and he folds it in half and puts it in the barrel.We all laugh and dad speaks again "what do you think" he says standing beside the burning cardboard. I whistle and clap and everyone joins me
"Forgiven" I look to the team "forgiven" the add back and I run up and hug my dad. "I'm sorry kiddo" me says to me ruffling my hair "as much as I didn't miss that" I say fixing my hair "I'm glad it happened again" I say motioning for the team they come and we have a big group hug. "We've got finals soon!" My dad says and we all clap again "I'm proud of you even with me off being absent you managed to keep going we're going to be facing iceland and Jan's here is going to help me with preparing for it" my dad says looking at all of us "and I'm sorry, now go have fun" he waved us away. I run hug him once more and join Fulton and Dean we were going to lunch.
