Wilbur awoke from his sleep to see he was in the sleeping quarter of the van.

"I don't remember falling asleep in here-" he muttered, a bit louder than he thought he was, seemingly to himself. A deep voice boomed from the middle portion of the van.

"It's because you didn't." The voice sounded as if it was getting closer to Wilbur. To anyone else, this would have probably been terrifying, but to Wilbur this was what home sounded like. "Good morning loverboy." Wilbur smiled as he looked up to see his ram hybrid friend, Schlatt.

"Mh- mornin'" Schlatt stifled a laugh at the groggy excitement that it had been him to talk to Wilbur first thing in the morning.

"You fell asleep at your desk so I thought I'd bring you somewhere more comfortable." The clearly overworked president nodded drowsily and walked up to the male with horns. He leaned in and just laid his head on Schlatt's shoulder. Wilbur 's eyes drifted shut a few times, earning a small laugh from Schlatt.

"Why are you laughing?" Wilbur's mumble could only be heard by Schlatt since the President spoke softly, and was being muffled by Schlatt's shoulder.

"You keep almost falling asleep. C'mon, let's get you back in bed." Wilbur shook his head but didn't give a fight as Schlatt brought him back to the sleeping quarter.

"I've got work to do-" Wilbur mumbled once Schlatt sat him back down on the bed.

"I know, I'll take care of things for now, you need the sleep." Wilbur groaned in response. "It's like putting a kid to sleep for naptime." Schlatt teased. "I promise if anything big happens I'll come wake you up." Wilbur looked past Schlatt to his uniform, well at least to the jacket, he still had pretty much everything still on from the day before. Then he looked at his hat hanging on the shut off lamp. He gave one final sigh before looking at Schlatt and laying back down.

"Fine- but you have to come wake me up if anything happens-" Schlatt moved to sit next to Wilbur.

"I'll wake you up loverboy, don't worry. Schlatt spoke softer as he moved a hand to play with Wilbur's hair. He hummed the nation's anthem softly until the President's breathing got deeper, signaling that he was asleep. Schlatt waited for a moment before getting up to go face Wilbur's nation so Wilbur could get more sleep.
