I had never really given any thought as to what was waiting for me, when I died, I had never considered the idea that I would find peace. I never thought I would have considered my life to be just another statistic in the deaths caused by this disease.
Cassie walked through the street, she saw her childhood home, and she smiled as she felt the sun on her skin, she looked around, before she saw him. Anthoine. Waiting at the door, she ran to him and hugged him, "You're here, how?" She asked as the Frenchman laughed, "Someone had to be here, find you, give you peace." He spoke as she smiled hugging him.
We are born, from the minute we take our first breath, we are dying, every life is different from each other, every decision we make, when we fall in love, when we get married, when we have children, it all adds up in the end. Some of us have an epic love, mine was Max Verstappen. A man who lived his life in the fast lane, we took on the world together, we loved and we cried, but most of all, we were epic.
She looked around confused, as she smiled seeing him take her to the track, she smiled as she saw Jules and Senna, they were here too, she had found peace, this was her peace, she was meant to be here, she knew that now. She recognised the track, she smiled softly, as she hugged them both, Senna had heard about her from Jules, who had known the girl growing up, how she had supported Charles through his death, and through Anthoines.
We love and we hate, we fall in love, we find our people, we find that one person, and before we know it, our lives are ending, faster than any of us care to admit.

Geri sighed as she sat at her vanity table, brushing through her hair when Clary walked in and she smiled softly seeing the red head had her and Cassie's necklaces on, "I was thinking we could make a memorial for her, so when we miss her, we could remember her." She spoke, her voice thick with unshed tears as Geri nodded, "That would be nice." She whispered as she stood up, seeing Max and Christian in the doorway, as Max nodded, clearing his throat.
"I know I was supposed to speak at her funeral, but I don't know if I can." He spoke as they nodded their heads in understanding, they knew it would be hard, it would be hard for all of them.
"We have the wake after the funeral, you can always do your speech then, I have a song I wrote, specifically for her, for today." Clary spoke as he nodded.
Once they got to the church Max instantly felt Clary link her pinky with his, as they remembered the girl they both loved, one as a wife, the other a best friend, they had grown close and were helping each other through their grief, they knew they had to do this, for her.
Just say the word
we'll take on the world
just say you're hurt
we'll face the worseGeri smiled sadly seeing that the flowers were black and white, something Cassie insisted heavily upon as they watched as Christian, Daniel, Jos, Fernando, Sebastian and Kimi all carried in her coffin, before they laid her on the stand.
I can see, see the pain
in your eyes
oh believe, believe me and I have tried
No I won't, I won't pretend to know what
you've been through
you should know, I wish it was me not youGeri knew that the funeral wouldn't be your ordinary funeral, they just wanted a priest there to bless the service, and then they could remember her.
And just say the word
we'll take on the world
just say you're hurt
we'll face the worstChristian took his seat by Geri, who instantly locked her fingers with his, as Max stood up and walked to the coffin, he placed his hand on it, before he pressed a kiss to the wood, where her head was resting inside, once he did that he turned to face everyone who had come.
