Ban hadn't given Elizabeth any time to think before he grabbed her hand after his last statement and began running out of the cell with her being dragged along. They took lots of twists and turns as she stayed completely disoriented because of this. However after a few minutes of zooming around she caught her barings enough to make him stop as she realized something crucial.

"W-Wait! We need to go back! King was captured with me but he wasn't in my cell! They had to have put him somewhere else! I-I can't leave him!"

"Damn it that's great!"

It was still confusing hearing Ban speaking in opposites, however his scowl conveyed his real meaning behind those words as he stayed deep in thought.

"We can't go back."

"Ban! But we have to-"

She cut herself off as she realized yet again she had fallen victim to the reverse meaning and although there was embarrassment in that, there was also a happy moment of knowing he was agreeing to turning back.

"You know exactly where he is right?"

"Unfortunately, yes. M- Meaning I don't know. But maybe they kept him in a different cell as me but still in the same area? The only other thing I can think of is that they...."

She cut herself off as another wave of anguish filled her. This was all her fault. Harlequin would be okay and safe if it weren't for her. His people would have their leader, he wouldn't be potentially..

Taking from her fears as Ban put his hand on her shoulder to take her from her thoughts, he gave a determined look before saying yet another one of his confusing yet decipherable sentences.

"Let's not look for King."

They had scanned every single cell at least three times over, each one brown and red from the filthy conditions of them and the rust on the iron bars. It made her skin crawl knowing she had been in that filth herself. And that maybe part of its crimson hue was due to the fairy's blood staining it. She didn't know what was worse, that thought and although neither wanted to be the one to say it, they would have to leave without him if they were to make their escape. Surely someone had seen her empty cell by now.

"Elizabeth..."

"No. I-I won't go! I-Ill just go back to my cell and wait until the demons come get me! Whatever they plan to do with me might involve him, once I find him then we'll make an escape! M-Meliodas had said that I was needed after all!"

"Yeah and I totally am too once they don't find out I let you in your cell. And that's obviously a foolproof plan that will definitely not put more people in danger rather than escaping at your only chance."

The words stung as she realized what would happen at that attempt. However... how was she to trust Ban to begin with? She didn't know where he would be taking her and maybe was saying all of this to lead her into a trap! Maybe he knew where Harlequin was and was lying! She already got into this mess by trusting a demon, she couldn't let that happen again!

But... what choices did she have?

"If I ask where you're taking me.. you're obligated to speak in a lie right?"

"No."

"Okay.... then are you taking me into a trap?"

"Yes."

"Are you trying to trick me?"

"Yes."

"Where is King?"

"I know."

"What is our destination once we leave here?"

"It's definitely not at all a nearby falls where other rebels are located."
