I was woken by Annalise instead of Drew.
She had laid an outfit out on the end of the bed for me. She was holding a brown leather satchel and sat it with the clothes.
After rushing me to the bathroom to do my hair and makeup, she handed me the clothes and I changed while she exited.
I came out of the bathroom with the casual outfit on. It was much less elegant and fancy than all my other clothes. My mother insisted I wear outfits that are fit for a "princess", so I never am able to wear comfortable clothes like the ones I am wearing now.
I come out of the bathroom and Anna hands me the satchel bag she was holding earlier. In the bag I saw that there was a dark pair of sunglasses along with the stuff she had already said that was in there.
"Wear the sunglasses if people start to recognize you- also, please act normal and not-" She began to say before I cut her off.
"I know, Ann. If someone asks where I am, cover for me please?"
She nodded and gave me a hug before leaving. I looked around at the marble walls that made up my bedroom: The nude color of my bed, the colorful rug that spread on the ground, and the paintings that were scattered around the room that I made. If I get caught, i'll be lucky if I get to even stay here- might as well commit it to memory.
I didn't go out the front door because I knew the front security guards would ask where I was going and tell my oh-so-lovely parents and I did not want that to happen, so instead I went through the window. I took the escape rope ladder from under my bed and attached it to the window before climbing down to the freshly manicured grass.
Once my feet were safely on the ground, I started to make my way off the castle grounds. I continued walking around the castle and ducking around castle guards untill I made it to the long secret steps in the back of the property that led to the garage where there were many cars.
I made it to the garage and picked out a 1981 Ford Fiesta. It wasn't one of our newer cars but a lot of people drove these cars around, so It would blend in nicely.
I opened the door to the red car and took the keys out of the glove department. I started the engine and the car cranked to life.
I had finally arrived in the city and started to drive around aimlessly, just exploring the vast and beautiful place.
People with long hair and beards pass me on motorcycles. Others were standing on the streets fine dining or smoking a cigar. I saw a variety of different people- girls and men wearing tie-dye, others were wearing their hair in fancy buns. I noticed that a lot of girls had their hair styled in a very voluminous way.
My stomach grumbled from me not eating breakfast and I decided to stop at one of the many restaurants I saw called Lilo's Cafe.
I parked the car in a parking spot in front of the cafe and walked in the place. It was very small but cute at the same time..
A lady with the name tag of Sydney, came up to me, "How many, hun?"
I was confused so I asked, "How many what?"
"People. Is it just you, or are there others coming to dine with you?"
I could tell Sydney was annoyed by my ignorance, "Um. Just me."
"Follow me, then."
I followed her to the small booth she led me to. There was a menu layed out in front of me and I took it in my hands and scrolled through it.
Another waitress came up to me. She had frizzy red hair and her name tag read: Denice.
"What can I get you started with?" Denice said.
