Knock. Knock.

I waited a few moments until I heard Ashton yell, "Hold on, I'm coming!"

He opened the door seconds later with his shirt half on. It was around his neck and his hair was damp so I figured he had just taken a shower.

"I didn't realize you would get here that fast." He said and continued putting his shirt on.

I didn't know how to respond to that so I just followed him inside.

"You can sleep in my room and I'll crash on the couch." He said while tying his hair into a bun in the back. A few curls managed to escape which made him look so effortlessly attractive.

"Please don't do that. I can sleep on the couch, you-"

He cut me off, "It's already decided, and I thought you said we didn't have to talk?"

Ok, that hurt.

"Is there anything else you need, Majesty?"

I shook my head no.

"Bathroom is down the hall if you need to shower. My Dad is out of town picking up some new parts from his old friend by the way."

He told me to follow him and he led me to his surprisingly neat room. I sat my bag on the edge of his bed and sat. He leaned against the doorframe and looked at me with his irresistible eyes.

"Have you been crying?" He asked.

I looked up at him and nodded.

"Oh. Why?"

"Nothing. I don't really want to talk about it." Pause, "Thank you for letting me stay here. My mother-" I shook my head.

He didn't say anything. Just stood in the doorway with his arms crossed over his chest and a look of sympathy on his previous cold face.

"Haven?" He finally spoke, "I know you probably have had a rough day, but I just want to- nevermind."

I looked at him with confused eyes, "What is it?"

"Nothing. There are extra pillows and blankets in the top of my closet." Then he left. I decided that I should take a shower. Today had been a long day and I needed to relax. I grabbed my soaps and necessities from my bag and walked down the hall to the bathroom.

As I passed the open living room, I heard Ashton lightly mumbling a song.

I got to the blue colored washroom and sat the soaps in the shower. I quickly took my hair down from it's bun and slipped out of the uncomfortable clothes.

When the shower was finally warm enough, I climbed into the shower and washed my hair with the stuff I had brought. When I was done, I stood there in the warm water and just thought. I thought about everything that happened today. To the bridal boutique to dinner. Everything was so messed up. Three months ago, I was living my best life. Now, everything was crap. I turned off the water.

I hadn't realized I was crying until I heard a knock at the door.

"Y-yes?" I called.

"Are you ok, Bambi?" Ashton asked in a soothingly calm voice.

"Mm-hm."

"Do you need anything?"

I looked around and realized I had forgotten a shirt, "A shirt please. T-thank you."

"No problem."

A few minutes passed and another knock was heard. I wrapped the towel around my body and opened the door. He quickly handed me a shirt before I closed the door again.
