Rui x reader one shots

Wasn't requested by anyone, simply to just pad out the parts in this book, once I'll be gone.

Fluff + Short + Gender neutral + Moder AU (college, not an important detail but to set an age)
Also this may seem more like a part on 'crack' as others would put it.

It was the first sound that greeted Rui before he was even able to enter his apartment. His hand hovered over the doorknob as he had already unlocked the door with his key. It took him a second to get a hold of his barring's before he opened the door, the sight that awaited him on the other side of the door was relatively something. 

By the door was various animals. There were cats of all breeds and sizes meowing and nuzzling against his leg. At the sound of the door opening, puppies and dogs alike ran to the door, barking and yipping before pouncing on Rui.

Rui yelped as the dogs began to lick at his face, neck, hands, fingers and clothed sides. He had to stop himself frog gagging too much as they smelled. He, as gently as he could, pushed them off of him and hoisted himself up and made his way into the house, closing the door behind him.

The cats and dogs followed after him, various 'meows' and barks followed him all the way until he saw his significant other sitting on the couch. Animals ranging from birds to cats to dogs to even guinea pigs sat beside them, below them, on top of them and eve on them.

(Y/N) looked as if they were high. They had their head tilted upwards as they seemed to look up at the ceiling as if it was the most amazing thing ever while holding a very huge smile on their face. Both of their hands rested on cats and puppies, petting them. 

Rui had to admit it looked weird, something out of a painting drawn by someone who had a little too much to drink but at the same time, it looked rather entrancing, if you ignored the high look to (Y/N).

Speaking of (Y/N), they took note of their boyfriend as he looked beyond surprised, trying to comprehend what was going on. They raised a hand and waved at him relatively slowly as they muttered a greeting.

"Um, (Y/N)?"

"Hmm?"

"Why're their strays and rodents in the apartment?"

"Oi, don't call them that! They have sensitive feelings! Besides, they all have names!"

"Please don't tell me you named them?"

"..."

"(Y/N), we have to get rid of them!"

"WHAT!? But why?!"

"We can hardly support ourselves! A dozen more mouths to feed makes the situation worse!"

"I know, but I'll work two-three extra jobs if I must!"

"(Y/N)."

" Please! Your'e hardly around! Besides, I'm sure more people around the house will be helpful!"

"Yeah, cleaning after their filth, feeding them, taking them on walks, vets, cleaning them. No."

"Rui."

"(Y/N)

"Yes."

"No."

"Yes!"

"No!"

"YES!"

"NO!"

(Y/N) laid in bed as they were fast asleep while Rui laid next to them, attempting to get a semblance of sleep. Cats and dogs alike laid around the bed, trying to cuddle as close to both of them as possible. 

About everyone was fast asleep except Rui as his eyes were wide open, blood-shot as stared up at the ceiling. (Y/N) had their back turned to him as they hugged their pillow while a puppy behind them curled up as close as possible to get as much warmth as possible. 

The kittens and cats, even birds and guinea pigs that rested on his chest were sound asleep no matter how much he tried to move. He was trapped. The moment he realized that he lied down, his fate was sealed. He had no choice but to lay through the pain and suffering.

The next morning, Rui awoke to find that (Y/N) was no where to be seen. Most of the animals were out of room entirely except the few that laid next to him and on him. Their eyes were wide open and were looking at him. 

He was startled and flinched rather violently, startling the various kittens from their slumber. One by one they all jumped from his chest and rested on the sheets and resumed their slumber as their mama followed afterwards, curling around them, keeping them warm.

Rui, not wasting this chance, jumped from the bed and made his way out of the room and into the living room to see the majority had made themselves at home all around the room, some lounging on the carpet, the rug, the couch, the light on the ceiling, the TV, the coffee table and more noticeably the kitchen where his significant other resided. 

"Guys-No, Elizabeth, off the tortilla wrapping! Gah, Viper get off the toaster, you'll burn yourself!"

Rui watched on in amusement as they tried to be in more than one place, keeping the animals from messing up breakfast and in general, hurting themselves. It was amusing until he took note of a bird taking a dump on the sizzling eggs. 

"Jasper, WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT!?!?!?!?!?!??!!?!?"

Rui cleared his throat as (Y/N) snapped their head over at him, a look of absolute exhausten on their face as they held several rodents in their hands and birds taking refuge in their hair.

"RUI, THANK GOD YOU'RE HERE! I NEED HELP, PLEASE!"

"Hmm, this is your responsibility."

"WHAT!?"

"You'd take three jobs for them but not clean up after them, tsk, tsk."

"Don't give me that look, (Y/N). They're your responsibility after all."

"Those were your eggs, you'now."

"NOW THESE BIRD BITC*ES WANNA THROW HANDS! I'LL START WAR WORLD 3 YOU PES-"

"RUI!"

The day was long and stressful as (Y/N) and Rui laid on their couch. Rui was throwing hands with the bird for a good while before he lost. His excuse, 'it was your fault for tugging on me so much, I could have won', only to throw hands again, and this time they did not intervene and would you guess it, the bird won. 

(Y/N) and the cats, kittens, dogs, puppies, birds, and guinea pigs watched it all unfold. It was something to witness alright. Rui striked the air more than anything. It was hilarious and (Y/N) could wager that some of the other animals found it amusing. 

Rui was still trying to regain his breath as he glared at the bird sitting triumphantly on the coffee table in front of him. It was an intense staring contest, something (Y/N) and the others felt they shouldn't interfere in otherwise they'd get decimated off the face of the planet. 

This was something to type, ngl. 

I found typing this rather enjoyable and I wanted to do so much more with this concept but I forgot so much of what I wanted to do also I wanted to hurry and finish this so I could post it, maybe I should make a part two?
