(I won't allow you to die) human!reader

"(Y/n)." Someone called out. You jumped at the sudden voice, turning around to see Riu looking at you. "Yes, Riu?" I asked. "Come here." He ordered looking right back outside, at the snow that was out there.
I moved over to him and sat beside him, kicking my bare feet back and forth in the snow. "(Y/n), have you considered my offer to make you a demon yet?" He asked me, facing me. I was caught off guard by this. I knew this talk would come up sooner or later.
"I-I have." I answered, getting scared. "And what is your answer?" Riu asked, now looking me in the eyes, with his multicolored eyes. "I...I don't know." I admitted. "Why is that?" He asked. "Well I want to stay human but at the same time I want to stay here with you. Being human, I can die of old age. Being a demon can also result in death but it's a lower chance. Being a human, death is inevitable. Being a demon, it comes when we get get burned to death, or get killed by a demon slayer." I explained
".......I see." He said, simply. I looked at the snow, becoming mesmerized with the beauty of the blank white surface.

All I felt was pain. Red crimson stained the white snow. I was bleeding out. "(Y/n)!" I heard someone call out. I said nothing, I was too busy trying to not stain the snow anymore. I looked over to my left to see Riu. He kneeled down beside me. "R...Ri...u" I mumbled out, coughing out blood afterwards. He raised his arm up to face and bit down on it, drawing his blood. "Drink this." He said, placing his arm on my lips. I closed it shut to make sure none of it would get in my mouth. I heard him growl lowly. "(Y/n), don't be difficult...!" He slightly yelled, making me jump. "Don't make me put it in your wounds." He warned. But I already passed out from blood loss or maybe this is death...? I don't know. Before everything went black I heard

"I won't allow you to die, (y/n)."

I groaned as I slowly opened my eyes. The light hurt my eyes. My eyes must've been closed for a really long time. I closed my eyes and reopened them. Wasn't I in a death situation? But for some reason I feel no pain. I raised the upper half of my body up and looked around. I was back in the shed like house. I looked around more, letting my eyes adjust to the darkness. My eyes landed on a silhouette in the darkness, sitting in the corner, facing my direction.
"Riu?" I called/asked out. The silhouette flinched and looked up at me. In a split second they were in front me, hugging me, smothering their face in the crook of my neck. I froze but my instincts kicked in and I wrapped arms around their back.
The person pulled back and it was indeed Riu. "How're you feeling?" He asked, concern laced in his voice. "I'm alright, I guess." I said. "I'm glad, you're okay." He sighed. He payed his head on my shoulder. "From now on you aren't going anywhere, where I can't see you." He said. I blinked. "What..?" Was all that came out of my mouth. "You nearly died. I'm not going to allow you to leave me as well." He said. "Um...Riu...?" I called/asked out. He hummed in response. "Did you stitch my wounds are something? I don't feel any pain." I asked/said. He remained silent for a few moments until he pulled away from my shoulder. "About that..." he began. He grabbed my wrist and brought it up so I can see it. I nearly fainted. My skin is incredibly, unbelievably white. Pure white! My nails are slightly sharper. I looked at Riu and saw him looking at me, most likely wanting to see my reaction.
"D...Did you...?" I began, until he cut me off. " yes. (Y/n), I turned you into a demon." He said. I blinked.
