The shock filled the room and there was a deafening silence. (M/n) grabbed young (Y/n)s wrist and rushed her away from the crowd outside to wear the carriage was waiting.

“But Mamá, Abuela said all the Madrigals got a gift?”, (Y/n) said to her Mama whilst getting into the carriage.

“They do Mija,”, (M/n) said to the confused girl, she let out under her breath, “most of the time”.

(M/n) rushed into the carriage, when she saw her own Mamá and Papa exiting Casita being escorted by a very stressed looking Alma, and a very tall looking man, with perhaps a 7-foot frame that’s how tall.

Young (Y/n) couldn’t help but be curious about the situation at hand.

“What happened Alma? ".Y/n)s Abuelo asked.

“I don’t know, eso es la maldita problema.”, Alma said a strong fury filling her voice.

The Tall man looked taken aback by the behavior.

“Alma it’s okay, No matter what, the familia (L/n) will be here for your family, you will always get food, shelter, invitations to join us at our home, that’s what we do because we are a community.”, (Y/n)’s Abuela told Alma.

Alma had a small smile form on her face.

“Igual a tu familia.”
