After a small fall into the void behind the TV screen, us four intrepid adventures landed softly upon the ground. And by softly I mean I slammed down face first as Aki used my spine as a landing pad, Yu my left arm, and Naoto my legs...
'Muffled screaming into the ground,' every part of my body ached as the three of them realized what had happened.
"Sorry (Y/N)," Yu said as he hopped off my crushed arm.
"Oh god (Y/N) I'm so sorry!" Naoto quickly shot off my legs, "are you alright!?"
"Ah, he's fine! Ain't that right pal!" Aki smiled as he slapped my back. I let out another muffled scream into the ground...
Naoto and Yu helped me to my feet as I collected my thoughts.
"So this is the place?" Yu asked as he looked around the room. Sure enough, we landed in the TV studio from the other night. But this time there was a serious lack of angry people.
We poked around the room but didn't find anything except for abandoned recording equipment and turned over furniture riddled with bullet holes.
"What happened here?" Naoto asked as she investigated the numerous lead holes.
"Just your average 'you aren't welcome here' gathering," I replied in a sarcastic tone as I walked past her. After finding nothing but dust and echoes, Aki and I decided to move along and show them the exit.
"This is the TV we used to exit," Aki said as he pointed towards the TV that rested against the wall.
"Do you know where it leads?" Naoto asked.
"Sure do," I interjected, "some homeless guys TV in a back alley in Inaba." Naoto looked at me slightly concerned but decided to just go along with it.
Now that everyone knew where the exit was, we decided to head deeper into the depths of this studio. After walking for a few minutes we came to a double door that was illuminated by a red exit sign above it.
"An exit huh?" I said as I walked over and investigated the door, "should we head through?"
"I don't see what other choice we have." Aki looked around but there didn't seem to be another hallway or door insight.
I shrugged as I grabbed both handles and pulled the door open. We walked through the door and found ourselves in what looked like a courtyard. A tree was planted in the middle and a walkway looped around it. The sky was bright red with black lines moving throughout it. Although the tree remained still, a stale wind blew throughout the courtyard. Before I could say something, a voice thundered from the sky.
"Back for round two already?" the voice mocked, "and here I thought you weren't this stupid." The sky began to glow as the wind became stronger.
"Friend of yours?" Yu shouted over the gusts of wind.
"Nah we just met!" I replied as I covered my face. Whatever voice just shouted to us was new, one Aki and I have not heard before, this was getting interesting.
Suddenly from the shade of the tree, shadowy figures began to creep out.
"What the hell!" Aki shouted as he readied his firearm.
The figures began to take a more clear form as they transformed into the men wearing suits we saw the other day! But something was different about them... they seemed, undercooked as if they needed a few more minutes in the oven. Darkness leaked from their skin like smoke at an over-budget rock concert. Some of them brandished make-shift weapons like lead pipes and crowbars, but others wielded knives and machetes.
