nova and tom quickly walked hand in hand trying to get away from the paparazzi and fans around them. there was quite a buzz around them, their names being yelled out every two seconds. nova's grip on tom's hand tightened when she felt a force push against her. her short skirt made her anxious and she pulled it down.
"hey look! it's that slut who walks for victoria secret!" a voice laughed from behind her, she frowned at the comment but decided to ignore it. tom rubbed his thumb on her hand and she forcefully smiled at him to tell him she was alright. "isn't she the one who cheated on that sebastian guy?! what a bitch" another voice called out and nova ignored it again. when the same male voice made another false hurtful comment she felt tom stop. she looked up at him to see his lips pulled into a frown and his other hand clenched.
her eyes widened and she whispered to him, "tom! it's alright! they don't deserve any response, they are just a bunch of assholes, no need to make a scene y'know?" she again forced a smile but tom knew her enough to know how false that smile was. he shook his head, "i don't like it" neither do i tom, she thought with a frown. she pulled his hand and tried to make him walk but of course with him being much stronger than her, he remained rooted to the ground. he stared at her with a frown but that soon turned to a glare when another rude comment was made. she cursed herself mentally when tom turned to the man who made the comments.
his hand rested on his hand on his beer belly and cleared his throat. his brown hair, almost grey was pulled back with a head band. "you have something to say?" tom crossed his arms and glared at the man, nova gasped slightly. she had never seen him this way. the man, now clearly nervous shook his head and took a step back. his measly height of 5'5 could never stand against tom's intimidating 6'3. the paparazzi flashed their cameras and tried to take as many pictures and videos of the scene they could. tom glared at them as well, "oh come on get the fuck out of here and leave us alone! weren't you the one trying to take pictures down her skirt? get the fuck out of here before i report you" tom slightly yelled at the paparazzi and they looked at each other before quickly walking away.
"tom, c'mon let's go" nova muttered to tom and he looked at her, his gaze softening and he sighed, "alright". he grabbed her hand softly and held it firmly. "never talk shit like that about my girl, in fact any girl! rot in bloody hell" tom sneered at the men. nova's eyes widened, 'my girl' he called me his girl! she slightly blushed at her thoughts but then brushed it off. he was just angry...right? she glanced at the pity excuses of humans around her and glared at them, "shame on you".
