Prologue

Until Changsub graduated from school, they were living in a small town with their grandma. After his graduation, he got a good job in Seoul and moved there.

He used to visit them almost every 2 weeks or whenever he had a long weekend. His place was only a few hours away anyway. It happened during one such visit, his grandma had a heart attack and her body was not able to overcome this and she passed away. At this time Sungjae moved to the States with his dad. But he was not able to adjust there, he felt foreign and so alone and he missed Changsub so much, you see, all his life or at least as long as he remembered, he had Changsub in his life, and now not having him suddenly was weird and felt lonely. He was attached to Changsub more than his parents

So his dad took the decision that they send him back to Korea & so he was back just after studying there for a few months. Then he got admitted to a boarding school in Seoul. The basic idea behind this was that since Changsub was also working in the same city, he could visit him from time to time and he would not have to take the entire responsibility of Sungjae... just checking on him once or twice a month would be fine. After all, he is also a young adult who has his own life and career.

Ever since they were young, Changsub always felt that Yuk was his responsibility and he always took care of him. Yuk also followed him everywhere like a puppy, they went to the same school, had a common group of friends, etc. Even though they used to fight and bicker a lot, Sungjae followed Changsub's footsteps and respected him a lot. So Changsub was also very happy to learn that his brother would be back and they could live in the same city.

You see Changsub grew up at his grandma's place, but before they used to live in Seoul and had a good house there. His grandma decided not to sell the house because it has his family's memories, all their important stuff was packed in one of the rooms and the rest of the house they decided to give for rent, he thanked her for that. Now that he is back in the city after around 15 years, he started living there. But since the house was huge for a single person, he asked his childhood friend Eunkwang and his college friend Hyunsik to live along with him who was also working in the same city. Eunkwang was his best friend and neighbor from his grandma's place who helped Changsub a lot to get over his parents.
