Haruka had made reservations at the high class restaurant, even before Kenma was in the picture. She always thought of the possibility of someone just letting her explain the situation, never knew that Kenma would be the first.

They sat down and already ordered their food. Haruka lightly starts shaking her leg in nervousness, looking side to side, avoiding his gaze. She took a small breath of air and decided to go for it.

"Um so.." her eyes look directly into his, "Before my disappearance, my parents one evening just kind of said were moving to Korea right,"

Kenma drank a glass of his nonalcoholic beverage, usually he would get one but its best to stay sober in these situations.

"I tried to run away like usual but they had tons of security there and so they knocked me out and when I woke up I was on a plane- thats sounds horrible but its not kidnapping of course-" she started to blabber

"Get to the point" He says coldly

Embarrassed? Yep she definitely wanted to hide in a hole and never come out.

"They took my phone away and place me in tight security, plus being young at the time I didn't memorize numbers so there was no way to contact anyone. The worst part was that they put me in a lady etiquette school!" she exclaims the last part like if it was a crime

Haruka got off her seat and did a whole ninety degree bow, making the boy shock and panic because everyone around them were whispering and looking with judgmental eyes.

"Sit the fuck back down" he whispers harshly at her

The girl realizes and looks around to see people staring, more embarrassing than ever, she sat back down and face plants on the table.

Kenma lets out a small laugh but quickly catches himself and stops.

"I heard that" she muffles on the table

A small sigh escapes his lips, he knew she was telling the truth, but did he really want to forgive her now?

"I understand the situation. It's a good excuse to use, although its hard to forgive so easily after years of thinking you left us- I mean me for good. But being a child at a vulnerable state was even harder."

Her face lifted up from the table immediately speaking, "and I understand that! Just don't hate me." A small pout forms on her lips

It caught him off guard to see her so desperate like that. Usually she was always holding a determined or happy look but it was different, and he made her like that.

"I guess I could forgive you but that doesn't mean were friends."

"Right" she mumbles
