Haruka POV
It didn't take me long to find her, the cries of Mei were sort of loud but you could tell she tried to hide it. I rush in the bathroom and look under the stalls to see her shoes on the ground.
"Suzuki... it's me Sasaki."
Her cries became more quiet, she didn't want me to hear I'm guessing.
"Are you okay?" I knock on the stall she was in.
Suddenly she burst out the stall and pushes me away, "Don't you dare give me pity!"
Her eyes were red, shoot just say something already!
"If I pitied you then I wouldn't have chased you here and ask if you were okay. Pitting people who get hurt by others they call friends are the worst."
She scoffs while rolling her eyes, "That's gold coming from you."
"I just want to mend our friendship back and explain everything that happened— but your more important than my situation."
"Explain then. Give me your bullshit."
A heavy sigh escapes my lips, I wanted to speak to her about the problem not explain my situation. I start to explain the whole thing, which she was listening intently, slowly letting her guard down.
"Oh Sasaki why didn't you say so in the beginning? I miss you so much!" She then jumps onto me
Wait. She forgives me just like that? Right she is easy going girl after all. Although she can be swayed easily by others.
"I miss you too. Suzu-"
"Call me Mei. We're friends now, right?"
"Right. Same here." This will probably be the most easy person to get along with out of the three. "Mei, explain why you eat less and act like your okay when they talk about your weight like that?"
Mei shifts her leg to the other and nervously rubs her arm, "I just want to fit in. Those girls were welcoming to me when entering high school."
"But why did you stay with them when they treat you like shit?"
"Well they were nice but little by little remarks were made towards me about my weight so then I started to eat less."
How can such people corrupt a girl like her who just wanted friends. Mei usually loves to talk about boys and hangout without worries; she's change though, I can tell.
"You were and still are beautiful. They're probably jealous, especially Emma since your waaayy more hotter than her." Mei laughs at my compliment, in a good way though
