Izumi frowns a bit before yelling profanities and leaving her in the room by herself. How was Haruka going to face him now after she just confessed and saw him beating up a dude.
"Only you girl." She says to herself before leaving the room as well.
Some time passes and the games have begun, Kenma and Haruka were on opposite sides of the circle their group was in which had her almost facing directly at him. She kept avoiding his gaze and tried paying attention to their leader.
"Okay so the three legged race I want Haruka and Kenma doing..." after that sentence Haruka went blank and heard nothing else
Im going to be closer to Kenma then I have ever been in years...
She couldn't process it well but that wasn't important since the leader snapped her out and told her to pay attention while Kenma bore his eyes into her for a while.
After a while the games finally started and whoever wasn't in the game was to be sat on their team chairs and support their team.
Haruka sat next to a random teammate and tried to convince them to switch games.
"What is wrong with me, get yourself together Haru! This isn't you." She realized how dumb she has been acting when if it was her younger self she would've wifed him up already.
"THREE LEGGED RACE IS GOING TO START EVERY PLAYER GET ON THE FIELD!!"
Haruka slapped her face real quick and stood up so fast her low iron deficiency couldn't process.
"He won't bite..."
She walked down with him to the field and they stood in position. This random staff came to them and tied one of their ankles together.
"I don't care if we win or lose, just don't fall down." Kenma warns before hooking his arm around her waist
"Okay mom." She made her remark and acted like his arm going around her waist wasn't the hotted butterfly effect.
"3...2...1 GO!"
They started walking together but she felt the need to pretend to twist her ankle and make a whole scene which would get him to carry her to the medical cabin. Kenma on the other hand was just living his life not knowing what plan she had.
"oH nO!" Haruka frantically falls but instead of it being her only, Kenma falls with her but catches himself before clashing into her.
"What the fuck is wrong with you"
"MY ANKLE KENMA IS HURTS SO BAD" her acting mode turned on and she started flooding tears.
He got off her and removed the string that held them together. Haruka then grabs her ankle and starts whimpering in pain.
"Kenma help." She gave him the most vulnerable look ever.
He harshly sighs, grabbing her bridal style, and walking towards the cabin where she can get something to help her ankle.
"How did you even hurt your ankle so fast-"
"It hurts so badly." She looks up at him with tears and that cute puppy face.
It was irresistible, "Fuck"
By the time they entered the cabin no one was in there so it was his job go help her because she couldn't do it. He sat her down on a high chair and got down on his knee to check her ankle out.
"Where does it hurt?"
"In my heart- I MEAN uhh near the bone?"
He got up slowly letting out a sigh, knowing what this is about, "Did you just make a whole scene just for you to be alone with me?"
"Well uh-"
"HARUKA I SAW YOU FALL! ARE YOU ALRIGHT?" Izumi comes blazing in looking all worried
Kenma starts walking out while Haruka tried to go after him but Izumi held her back and started gushingly being worried about her friend.
"FUCK" she exclaims.
