It was two days later that the plan of a confession would happen. Mei thought of the idea and Izumi was so excited to use it. While that was happening, Haruka had stay clear of Kuroo or his posse besides Kenma. She was terrified of the possibilities; yeah Kenma might just be exaggerating but knowing him, he never would exaggerate this much.
It was lunch and Izumi already had pulled out Lev to talk- or rather confess. Mei and Haruka sat on the chairs and began to eat their meals.
"So you think its going to work?" Mei ask in a sort of nervous tone
"Mm knowing Izumi she would probably not give up if he rejected her. I'm glad she can openly be like that."
"Haru, you also can be like that. When I was with my other friend group it was always easy to ask out guys, now its hard."
Her eyes widen in shock "You like someone?"
"I like Kuroo I can admit that but he'll never genuinely love me. Thats why I don't want to mess with him."
Haruka hums in response, not knowing what to say or do. She starts to pick at her food a bit, thinking of Kuroo and his little evil minions of what they could possible do to her.
"Mei, what things have Kuroo and his posse do that is bad?"
Mei stops chewing her food and swallows it almost wholly. She wasn't expecting that question but still Haruka knew nothing of them so it was going to come sooner or later.
"Kuroo is not really the mastermind behind his tricks and bullying, Kenma is. Although they only do it to people who mess with them. Being their target is something you should be horrified as."
"But why?"
"Lets say it get pretty bloody. They never mess with girls because it would show that they are actually trash and stoop so low. But that doesn't mean they can't use other people."
"Welp I'm dead."
Mei chuckles a bit, "Don't worry, I will be here to help you."
They continue to eat while talking about a different subject that didn't ruin the mood. Izumi finally came back and her face was brighter than before.
Lev went to sit with his friends.
"I'm dating Izumi." He exclaims to the boys
"Good for you?"
"Congratulations?"
"What a bothersome couple." Kenma says with his soothing voice, clearly uninterested. "Also Kuroo back off from Sasaki. Don't get her mix in with your petty side."
"You guys must have a past history with each other. Anyways you can't tell me what to do!"
"Kuroo" Kenma gave a glare with his warning tone
"Fine! But next time if she does come across me like that again I'll for sure do something about it."

The end of the day came again and Mei was assigned to clean up the chemistry class. Haruka decided to join in and help to make it faster. Izumi left with Lev going on their first date which was super exciting.
"Was there someone else suppose to help you Mei?"
"Not that I know of-"
The door then opens up to Aiko who was clearly there to clean but not knowing the others would be there. She was about to turn and leave but Haruka stops her,
"Wait! Tanaka please stay."
Aiko hadn't move from her position, contemplating whether she should ignore Haruka or stay and help clean.
"I have no intentions of making up. Lets just get this shit over with."
Haruka bit her lip before she could say another word. They were alone, just the three of them and it was a perfect chance whether Aiko wants it or not.
"Tanaka, I'm so sorry for everything. I genuinely want to make up for this friendship and start over. The things that happen in the past need to be explained."
"Explain then."
She then starts the story of what happened and how her moving away was not even mention once from her parents. Aiko didn't know- no she wanted to believe her.
Even if they didn't go back to being friends, Haruka still needed to get things off her chest and lift the final burden. All she wanted was to be forgiven and not get daggers every time they would meet.
"I'm sorry for being cold and assuming things."
Haruka smiles, "You had every right to be mad at me."
"I guess we can be friends again... but don't run off on me like that again or else I'll kill you myself."
While that was happening, Mei was still in the corner watching. She wanted to also make amends but was scared of the rejection.
"Tanaka- uhh- I'm sorry."
Aiko turns to face Mei, the tension was slowly fading away.
"It's fine. We all broke apart when this bitch left so it's really nothing."
Slowly the group came together and started a new chapter. The girls all miss each other like crazy but it was hard at first, now it would seem like they never even left.
Last thing that Haruka needed to say was a confession for Kenma that she held in all these years.
