The next day Julian and Lucas walked into class having meaningless chatter. Although the pair have only known each other for a few days, their friendship bloomed quicker than any. It could be because they were both new or it could be because they instantly just clicked, or maybe both.

"Try not to flirt with teach's daughter today Lukey." Julian smirked as they walked towards the classroom.

Lucas let out a small gasp as he turned to his friend. "I do not flirt with her." He scoffs, opening the door to the classroom where his face automatically turned into a smile when he saw Riley.

"Hi. I'm glad you're back." Riley smiled at the boy in awe for almost the a thousandth time.

Lucas' smile somehow grew even bigger as he went to sit down. "Hi. Me too."

Not flirting my ass. Julian lowly chuckled to himself, taking his usual seat, not notici Cory's gaze fixed on the duo. "Hi. Apparently you have a better sense of direction than I anticipated." Cory pointed to Riley.

Riley sighs and turns back around and putting her hands on her head, and Cory does the 'I'm watching you' signal.

"You are a really good-looking guy," Matthews commented on Lucas' appearance before turning to Julian too. "So are you." He adds before carrying on with the lesson. "Okay. So, today we're gonna find out if anybody here believes in something so strongly, they'd fight for it. Maya." He turned to the blonde.

"Yes, sir." She answered.

"Present your homework." He told her.

"Can't do that, sir." She told him with a shrug.

"Why not?" Cory asked his student.

"Didn't do my homework, sir." She simply told him.

"Why not?" Cory asked again.

"That's what I'm fighting against, sir." Maya told him.

Julian just raised an eyebrow as he watched the whole encounter in silence. "Oh, this could go on for a while. Farkle Farkle Farkle Farkle. Farkle Farkle Farkle Farkle." Farkle put a face mask on.

"I didn't do my homework, either." Riley told her father.

He raised an eyebrow. "Oh, really?" Cory asked not believing a thing.

"Bet, she's gonna say her and Maya are the same." Julian whispered to his friend, predicting exactly what was going to happen next.

"How much?" Lucas whispered back.

"Five dollars?" Julian suggested, sticking his hand out for him to shake.

"Deal." Lucas shook the boys hand.

"Yeah. We're the same, now. I don't believe in homework." Riley told her dad causing Julian to smirk as Lucas have him the five dollar bill.

"Guess what, Riley? That doesn't make you the same as Maya at all." Cory told her.

Maya raises her hand. "I have something to say." Maya told him.

Cory gasps stepping to the side. "Wow, I don't know what to do, I've never seen this before. The floor's yours, Ms. Hart." He smiled, moving out of her way.

"Get up, Farkle." Maya pulls on the boys sleep mask. "You're gonna wanna be awake for this." She told him causing Farkle to stand.

"Is it our honeymoon?" Farkle asked her.

"No, you missed that. Now it's time to hand in our essays." Maya told him, sarcasm dripping from her voice.

"Oh! Farkle goes first, Farkle always goes first!" Farkle skipped out of the class.
