"Why do I need to be here?" Julian frowned as the two walked inside the building where the Matthew's resided.
"You're my emotional support." Lucas told him with a smirk. Now although that was slightly true, he hoped him asking out Riley would push Julian to do the same for Maya.
"Emotional support my ass." Julian scoffed. "If Maya asked you out, why are you asking out Riley?" He questioned, feeling his head get heavy from everything.
"Maya doesn't wanna go out with me." Lucas chuckled.
"She literally asked you." Julian furrowed his eyebrows towards.
"Yeah but she was helping Riley." The dirty blonde explained.
"Nobody makes any sense." Julian scoffed before his best friend chuckled and knocked on the door.
"You." Cory opened the door and glared at Lucas.
"Me." Lucas mimicked his tone and facial expression.
"This should be good." Julian smirked and walked into the apartment sitting next to Topanga.
Ever since Christmas, the Matthews have given Julian an open invitation to stay with them at any given opportunity and so he's bonded with most members of the family. "Watch this very carefully, Mrs Matthews." Julian told her as he was watched like he was in a movie theatre.
Topanga laughed lightly before doing exactly that and watching the scene.
"Auggie's not home." Cory told him with a shrug.
"Yeah, I'm not here to see Auggie." Lucas told him.
"Riley's not home either." Cory lied as Maya and Riley appeared right behind him.
"Hi, Lucas." Riley waved
Her father paused for a moment. "That's right, I lied right in yo' face." Cory said as he pointed at Lucas.
"Actually, Mr. Matthews, I'm not here to see her either." Lucas told him.
"You're not?" Cory asked.
"You're not?" Riley asked.
"See and now our view is ruined by your daughter and her friend." Julian playfully sighed before him and Topanga stood up and walked to the group.
"I want to do this the right way. So first, I'm here to talk to you, Sir." Lucas explained.
Cory Looks back to see his family smiling at him before he returned the smile. " I want to do this the right way too, Lucas. No!" Cory said before he slammed the door in Lucas' face.
"Help me open this." Lucas told his best friend causing Julian to sigh before the two pushed open the door again.
"Mr. Matthews, would it be possible to speak with you alone?" Lucas asked after they pushed open the door.
"About homework?" Cory asked.
"No."
"About a grade?" Cory asked.
"No." Lucas told him.
"Then this has nothing to do with me and you've come to the wrong place. Good day." Cory said.
"Actually-" Lucas was cut off.
"I said good day, sir." Cory repeated, walking away from him.
"But I need to talk to you." Lucas told him, trailing behind him.
"Is this about a historical event? I can only speak to you about historical events." Cory asked.
"Yes."
