WEEKS PASSED,
as you and Venti grew closer together. You felt as though you've genuinely like him. It was only supposed to be for one week, then it turned into two, three, and slowly into four. You've enjoyed your time with him. But, you still felt as though you were missing Albedo. Regardless, Venti treated you like a gem. Xiao didn't seem affected though or he could just be hiding it away. "You and Venti as a thing is certainly unexpected." Diluc said to you. "Yeah, I know. I just feel like we've clicked you know?" you shrugged. Diluc nodded eating his lunch. "Hey dove!" Venti came over and sat next to you. "Hello Diluc. Here's a grape juice!" he smiled. "Thanks." Diluc showed no emotion. Luckily, you were saved by the bell. "I'll see you after classes." he kissed you.

After classes, you went to see Venti at the 'usual place' which was under a shady tree. "So look, I don't really want us to fake this. I want us to well be us, like a real thing." he muttered. You paused thinking of Albedo's face. "What do you say, Y/N?" he asked. "Sure, I don't see why not." you blurted. "Really?" he confirmed. You nodded in reply as you knew he liked you, as in like you. He hugged you tightly kissing your forehead. "I'll take good care of you, dove." he embraced you. You smiled assuring yourself this is how it's supposed to be. "Now, I wanna take you on a real date.. what about ice cream? NO. restaurant? BIG NO." he rambled on and on as you saw Albedo entering his car. You stared at his cold green eyes, he no longer rides the bus nor do you meet him in the halls. You felt as though he was invisible in your world. "Dove!" Venti caught your attention. "We should have a picnic." he said. "Sounds lovely." you answered. "I'll set it up!" he winked. "Be ready tomorrow." he added. "Okay!" you responded. You and Venti walked around the campus chatting about your days.

Later, after school you packed up and went outside to see Venti holding a bouquet of Cecilias. "Thank you." you smiled at his energetic face. He ushered you into his car. He drove you to a park and insisted on helping you out of the car. "Where are we?" you coyly asked. "Windrise Park! My favourite place to hang after school. C'mon!!!" he pulled you to a huge tree. You saw a laid out picnic with candlesticks. "Oh my, thank you Venti." you gasped. "Don't mention it dove!" he exclaimed. You both sat and joked around. You laid on his lap reading a book. "Oh you're so pretty." he admired. You blushed and covered your face. He sighed admiring the scenery. You eventually fell asleep on his lap. He leaned on the tree and opened your book. When you woke up, you saw him reading your book. He was absolutely in the zone and hooked. You stared at him and grinned. You smirked and kissed him. "Mm, I knew that'd work." he bragged. You rolled your eyes.
