Makenzie's POV

It took me a few hours to drive up to Duskwood. I spent the whole trip contemplating this whole mess. I would have to look through my notes and reaccess, I shivered as I thought about the message from yesterday. Thinking of yesterday got me thinking of Danny, I smiled. It was nice to have friends that weren't on the internet. Thinking of Danny made me think of Jaxon, which made me mad... How could he not TELL ME! Did E know... "Uggg" I groaned out loud. Thinking of Jaxon made me think of the police...which made me think of....
My brain started going fuzzy and I saw him. I saw little me, running towards him. HE picked me up, "hey princess!"  He twirled them around, her feet flying in the air. Then the schreech of the car down the street. Someone screamed. And the bang, He put the little girl down. "Stay here baby I'll be right back."
He turned and ran, I tried to tell him no! Tell him to go back. Then the little girl started walking..."no please no stop...STOP!!!"
"Stop please no." The haze disappeared and my focus returned to the present. I felt the wetness on my cheeks. I felt the heaviness on my chest. I shook it off as best as I could and poured my focus into the road.

I spent the rest of the trip blasting music and focusing solely on the directions. When I finally  reached Ayersten, the little town right outside Duskwood, I made my way to the motel stationed there. I paid for a room for three days, I figured Ayersten was a neutral space.

I pulled up to my room and moved all of my stuff into my suite. The place wasn't too terrible, it had \ one big room with a separate bathroom. The main room consisted of a queen sized bed, a TV sitting on a TV stand, a desk, with chair, nightstand and lamp and a kitchenette. The bathroom was simple, a toilet, sink with counter, and shower. It was perfect.

I unpacked and began to organize, I needed to be ready in a moment's notice. In my backpack I kept all my emergency items, a gun, two of my disposable phones, most of my remaining cash and my notes flash drive.

I organized my disguises, my clothes, and other items for ease of use. The same with all my weaponry and other equipment, I finished and took a breath. Ok now I needed a plan, I know I need a laptop, one I could heavily encrypt.

I needed to find Hannah, before it was too late.

I needed to keep the others safe.

I needed to stop the killer .

I needed help.

Dan's POV

I groaned and rubbed my eyes, I needed some whiskey.

I was back in the hospital after only just leaving. "F***ing Richy, the Da** idiot!"
I mean how could the guy be that stupid! Going into the woods. We were supposed to be leaving the woods.

I looked over to see Jessy, she was asleep right now, the poor thing was exhausted.

She had tried to call Makenzie, who didn't pick up, again. I mean what did Jess expect, Makenzie had missed probably over a thousand attempts to reach her. In knew from the police that Makenzie had to be the one that called in the attack. And I wanted to know what the f*** happened. I picked up my phone and contemplated calling her again. She had talked to me last time... No that was that guy... Jax or something... Thinking about that made me think of what Makenzie saved my contact info as. I chuckled under my breath, and I stood up. I was gonna go see Richy, he was still comatose. The police had asked about the girl on the phone because they wanted to bring her in for questioning but they didn't know who she was. I don't know if they ever reached her. I passed a few nurses and an orderly, stopping once reaching his room. I walked in and saw him, he was pale, hooked up to a respirator, IV, pulse monitor, the works. He looked like death, sh** he did die. For a few seconds anyway, he had been stabbed in the side, the knife had slid between two of his ribs. He had bitten into his gums and broken his nose way in the back, the way he had fallen he hit his head, the blood from those injuries had spilled out from his mouth.

I don't know why the hell he had been in those da** woods, or why he was on the phone with Makenzie. We really needed to know what she saw. After checking on Richy, and seeing no change I returned to the waiting room to find Jessy stirring.

"Hey" I said softly as she stretched in her chair.
"How is he?" She asked
"No..."
"Any word from Makenzie??" She added to hopefully.
"No, not anymore since yesterday."
I watched her expression fall, da** it. Then a nurse walked in.

"Party for Richard Rogers?"
"That's us." I raised my hand, she walked closer to us.
"We just wanted to let you know that there has been little change, he looks like he's out of most of the danger, but he went through a very traumatic experience and his body needs a lot of rest. "

"Do you know when he'll wake up?" Jessy pleaded teary-eyed.

"Hopefully in a few days, we are very hopeful for a full recovery. We recommend that you two go home and rest yourselves."

"But what if wakes up!?" Jessy cried out.

"We'll call you is there is any change."

"Ok thank you!" I said.
"Of course." She replied and made her way back to her job.

"Come on babe I'll take you home." We both got up and headed towards the exit.

"Can we stop and see Phil?"
"Sure"
I guess I'm going to prison.

Lilly's POV

Holy sh** he was bleeding everywhere.

"What the fu** happened?" I schreeched in alarm.

"Well right now some people really don't like me." He explained.

"Clearly." I retorted. I did my best to patch him up, thankfully there had been an exit wound and it had only just gotten in him. Another two inches to the right and he would only been just grazed.  The bullet hadn't hit anything vital from what I could tell, there had been alot of blood though, alot.

I finished cleaning him up and then headed to the kitchen to clean up my floors.  Fu**
