You and Itachi have known each other for quite some time. You two have been dating for a about 5 years and have started some drama and whispers around the village but mostly amongst the clan. Everyone was talking about how you two are perfect for each other and need to get married soon since the both of you had a pretty good hold with your Sharingan. But mostly so their would be another powerful Uchiha to help The Leaf just like them. But for some reason he always brushed it off and changed the subject.

You were now on your way to visit your boyfriend Itachi at his house to say good morning and to mention this. It had always crossed your mind since you both had been together for so long but he acted like he had never said it before. Which he did, but only once so long ago. This made you worried a bit so you were going to ask him about it.

Once you got there and was invited in by his baby brother Sasuke. Who said he wasn't home but would be back soon. You thought about leaving but decided to just wait in his room.

His mother offered you tea while you waited and even though you declined politely after hours you accepted tea and the snacks she wanted you to have. So much time passed you even ended up falling asleep under his covers as the sun went down.

It was peaceful but a little worrying when the moon was in the sky and Itachi still wasn't back.

Suddenly you heard doors opening. The noises of someone walking towards the room woke you up and the door noises made your ears conform it. You sat up and looked at the door as Itachi opened it and looked in at you.

"....what are you doing here."

"I was waiting on you.....where have you been."

"Taking care of some business." He walked in and took his anbu black ops mask and uniform off putting it to the side. "How long have you been here."

"Pretty long....what was it."

"I can't say. It's classified." After he finished undressing he gathered his things. "I'll be back. I'm going to go rinse off." He kissed your head and left the room.

"Okay...." You watched him leave the room and looked down at your hands.

~would he just ignore the topic again?....maybe he doesn't want to think about marriage~ you thought to yourself the whole time he was gone and before you knew it, he was back with his change of cloths on.

"Are you okay?" He put his towel down and only changed into pants but with that necklace on as always.

"Yeah" you looked and gave him a nod even though he'd be able to tell it was a lie.

Itachi came closer to you and sat across from you with your legs touching through the covers

"Tell me." He took your hands and held them with his thumbs rubbing the back of them making you feel a bit more relaxed like you had nothing to worry about.
