It's been almost six months since you last saw him.

Besides the large amount of money that randomly appeared in your account on your baby's birthday, there's been no sign or contact between the two of you.

"Come on." Picking up your son , you put him in a swaddle and made sure he was secure inside your chest carrier before grabbing your emergency bags.

While scanning the room, you made sure you had everything before looking back at the half Burt note that was slid under your apartment door that morning.

"Okay baby boy let's hurry and go." Walking out the front door, you locked it behind you. "Hmm? What do ya say." Rushing, you made your way outside, but when you got to your car, your tires were melted with another note. On your driver window.

-Not with this junk. Traffic and no time for gas

Quickly, you grabbed what you needed from the car and hurried away from the complex. From here, the only safe space left was UA and luckily it wasn't too far. But not even five minutes into walking past the practically parked cars on the road, and a large bang could be heard for miles.

"Shit-!" Your son started to cry and cling to your shirt. "It's okay baby boy come on." Quickly you hurried as fast as you could to the school. Upon getting there, there were so many people in a panic as streets and buildings began to crumble, being destroyed in the direction of your apartment. Taking a deep breath, you pushed through the crowd being careful with your son still on your chest.

Sitting against a building, you took deep breaths. "We made it baby boy." Staying at the school, the two of you were safe. But when things got really bad, they evacuated you both underground.

This whole time you've tried to avoid his family really for one reason, your son's hair is white and his eyes are blue, let alone his already striking resemblance to his dad.

But today while in line to eat, Dabi's sister started a conversation with you.

"Excuse me?" Turning your head, you made eye contact with her. "I'm sorry to bother but.. I've seen you around lately but I haven't gotten the chance to say anything."

"Oh.. well." You looked to the side not wanting to continue the conversation.

"Sorry it's just.. you're around my age and I just wanted to maybe help out. You have a son right?" Before you could respond, your son started whining and moving around in the swaddle against your chest.

"Shh shhh." You started patting his back and giving him your whole attention.

"Oh- sorry little guy. I didn't mean to wake you." She leaned in a little to see him while you tried getting him back inside not wanting her to get a look at his face, but by the silence that followed, you could tell you failed..

"..Sorry if this is too personal um-.." She didn't know what to say at first. "Your son's so adorable. Who's his father-."

"That is actually a bit personal. Excuse me." Cutting her off, quickly you walked off while still soothing your son.
