For a week, Itachi has been healing wonderfully. Though you were able to heal his body and restore his eyes, they still needed work since they were completely gone. It was purely your chakra that was restoring them. Now it would be about 5 months until your chakra flow could completely heal from practically rebuilding him entirely.

Ever since they found out he's been healing in your room, the boys won't leave him alone. Asking questions and wanting his full attention, it was exciting for them to have him in the house more than just a day.

Last night, they ended up sleeping next to the both of you. And when they woke up, they again wanted his full attention. But you hurried them out of the room to let him rest longer.

You bathed them and took care of cooking their breakfast while they sat in the bath playing with their toys.

When it came time to eat, they sat at the table like normal until your youngest jumped up and asked.

"Can we go and eat with daddy?!"

You looked at him and opened your mouth about to speak until your eldest gasped and yelled out.

"Yes mommy please?!"

You looked at both of them. Stare back at you excited more than anything about being able to eat breakfast with their father.

"...." You sighed and nodded. "Alright." They screamed out of excitement before grabbing their plates and running to your room. "But knock first! And keep it down."

"Yes ma'am!!" They both yelled in unison as they approached the door.

You sighed and looked at the table before getting up and grabbing the rest of the food and going to your room. They stood there jittery but couldn't open the door because their hands were full.

Once you got there, you reached to open it just for Itachi to open it, standing on the other side.

"Daddy we're gonna eat with you today!"

"Shhh." You hushed him while they ran in and put their plates next to Itachi's on the floor.

"Are you alright? How are your legs?"

"They're fine." You stepped in while scanning his body while he turned, putting his hand on your waist. "Truly." He faced you as your eyes connected with whatever was now under his bandages.

"..Okay." You spoke lightly, watching his face as he stood still with his other hand on the door.

After standing for a second, he reached up to pull at his bandages, but you quickly stopped him before his fingers could pull them down.

"Not yet. Give it time."

"I want to see you."

"..there will be time for that later."

"...."

"For now let's sit and eat. Your little fan boys want your full attention again." You smiled at the fact and moved to your tippy toes to kiss him on the cheek, but to your surprise, he turned his head landing a kiss on your lips instead.

As a smile lightly spread on your lips, both of his hands pulled you closer to him, ignoring the food you were carrying in your arm. Slowly you melted in his grip as his hands felt up and down your back letting you move from your tippy toes to your heels as he leaned closer.
