You fixed your green bow tie in the mirror. Your hair was combed back just like Bubbles showed you and you even wore some cologne.

You were ready. Ready, FOR HOMECOMING!

Mitch: Looking fly, my guy.

You looked over to your friend who was sitting on the couch. Even Courage was here in a little suit of his own. He wouldn't be going to Homecoming, but Liz promised to take him to the dog park.

Courage: <You'll make those girls fall all over you>

Y/N: Thanks bud. Whatever you said. I'm going to assume it was something nice.

Courage: <It was>

Liz: Look at you two. You both look very handsome.

Liz entered the room dressed in more normal clothes. She was going to drop you and Mitch off at the Utonium house so you could pick up your dates. From there, the Professor would provide a ride.

Robin would be waiting there since she lived next door. Mitch was with you since he lived just a few blocks away.

Everything was working out.

Now if only things stayed on track.

Power Up!

You knocked on the red door and waited. Finally, the Professor opened it.

Professor: Good afternoon, boys. You both look very handsome. Please, come in.

Y/N: Thanks, Professor.

Mitch: Hey, Professor.

You, Mitch, Liz, and Courage all walked in. The girls were still upstairs getting some last minute things ready. You all decided to wait in the living room.

Professor: Girls! The boys are here!

Blossom: One second!

You and Mitch chose to stay standing so you wouldn't have to get back up. You looked around for a second before you noticed a frame photo. It was of the girls when they were younger.

They were posing over a.....a green monkey. You didn't even question it.

Bubbles: We're here!

Bubbles flew down the stairs and landed. Following her was Blossom and Robin. Mitch smiled when he saw his date. They must be really close.

Robin: Hey, Mitch.

Mitch: H-Hey, Robin. You look really...pretty. Heh.

You patted his back and gently pushed him towards her. They began to talk just as Buttercup came down the stairs. Like you, she was wearing a black suit with a green vest and bow tie. However...

Buttercup: I have no idea how to tie this thing.

She gestured to her undone bow tie. You just smiled and walked over to her. You began to do her bowtie for her while the others watched.

Y/N: My grandpa taught me how to do this. He said that every boy should know how to tie any tie. Bowties were included in that.

You finished and took a look at it.

Buttercup: Well, good thing I have you as a date, then. Not bad.
