It was like staring into a mirror.
Except the mirror was ill-looking with bony elbows, hollowed cheeks and dark circles under it's eyes. It's ashen face held no sign of life and was absent of any emotions, save for the twist smile at the edge of it's lips.

Edmund would've mistaken it for a corpse had it not stared back at him with the same rage he had. Shivers crawled up his skin and an uneasy feeling lurked at the pit of his stomach. The more he stared, the more a feverish cold wrapped itself around him like a blanket.

"You cannot win this, Son of Adam," It said.

"I will try," He clenched his fists.

His ghost of a twin smiled at him,"You will lose," Those brown eyes that used to be full of life had dulled and a cold and empty void stared back at him.

"Then you'll fall to pieces with me."

"Do not overestimate yourself, Princeling."
