note(I am unfamiliar with the holiday: April fools day this is more like hw and i decided to put this here weird ik)

Today I am talking about a holiday I am not familiar with and do not celebrate its called April fools day

its on April first day of the week depends what we do on that day is pull pranks on people the tradition of pulling pranks have been observed for several centuries across a variety of cultures however the origin is unknown the most popular theory is that the day was caused by the change of Julian calendar to the gregorian calender in the 16th century the original calendar saw the new year beginning on March 25 with celebration occuring on April first but the new year switched to but they still thought April first was the proper day to celebrate April first so the hence April fools historians has also linked this holiday which for short I will call AF was linked to the old roman festival Hilaria which was celebrated by people dressing up in disguises but I have to say that it is not a national holiday but still celebrated in many parts of the world it is also known as All fools day but people also say it might be linked to Holi to celebrate the transition from winter to spring on April fools day newspapers make up a fake story to fool people and in england they use other words instead of fool and in Portugal they celebrate by throwing flour in to friends faces newspapers who do prank people made some of the biggest and most hilarious pranks ever like when Taco bell boasted that they bought the Liberety bell and was lanning to rename it to "Taco Liberty Bell" or that google said they added a feature to gmail called mic drop where if you press the button it will send the animating GIF of a minion dropping a microphone with it which was removed after causing high levels of confusion or when the BBC said that people in a country(I forgot the name) were celebrating the spaghetti festival which made many people go to the market asking for spaghetti trees and that america had a Apri fools day parade which never happened or existed and the BBC once again put a fake story into its series miracles of evoulotion which said penguins could fly and moved to the tropical forest of south america and thriving there and in london a large amount of people gathered to watch the lion washing ceremony that never existed 🤣 and back in the day you'd put paper fish on peoples backs to celebrate

now for my self opinion on this article and holiday I think that this article made me realize that theres much more to anything but its just waiting for you to learn about it now the holiday so pull pranks have fun but do not hurt or harm people physically and mentally have fun good luck on those pranks.
