Jungkook cleared his throat and raised his hand in the air waiting to be noticed. Namjoon next to him chuckled quietly as the rest of the interns paid close attention.
"You don't have to raise your hand, Dr. Jeon. We're not in kindergarten." Yoongi murmured as he scanned through a chart.
He looked exhausted, like the rest of them. Jungkook brought his hand down and smiled big and wide. Despite only running on three cups of black coffee he was super excited to be present.
"Dr. Min, we have finished checking on our patients. They're all doing good after their surgeries. Room 204 still has some pain but I authorized intravenous Morphine since he is my patient."
Yoongi raised his eyebrow, "Ahh. Is Mr. Jeon the spokesperson for the group?"
"My patient in 210 showed that the antibiotic he was on was resistant to the infection he got due to the wound. I took the liberty to change the antibiotic. No fever or chills." Namjoon spoke. He was so calm and collected it truly made Jimin wonder if he was as inexperienced as himself.
"Okay are the charts completed? If not, I need them to be before the shift is over." Yoongi said as he went back to the chart that was in his hands.
"Okay sir we...we will do that."
"Alright. Oh by the way, there is an open heart transplant surgery scheduled for today at two. Dr. Choi will be performing that. If we're not busy with emergencies you all can see the surgery through the gallery."
Jimin grinned excitedly. To see an open heart surgery was a dream come true. He could never get tired of seeing the beauty of saving lives.
They remained still, but very happy. It wasn't until Yoongi looked up again with a stern face that their smiles disappeared.
"Yes?" He asked with a hint of aggravation. Jimin could tell he wasn't used to having interns and that he was more of an alone guy.
"Umm..Dr. Min...I...we were wondering have you decided who we are getting assigned to?"
"Shit." Yoongi murmured, rubbing his temples. He took a deep breath and got up from his desk. Had he completely forgotten about assigning them doctors? It was his fault. He was so enslaved to his job that it always took over his mind.
Seconds later, he got up and approached the group causing them all to get jittery. It couldn't be so hard to assign them to a doctor.
"Jeon you will be with Dr. Kim," he started pointing to him. Jungkook clapped his hands way too excitedly, but Yoongi ignored him and continued.
"Hansol you're with Dr. Nakamoto, Kim you're with Dr. Kim in plastic surgery and—"
"Wait! I'm sorry Dr. Min I—I thought you said I was with Dr. Kim?"
"Yeah. Dr. Kim in neurology. We have multiple Dr. Kim's if you haven't noticed." He said and turned back around to finish assigning the interns.
Jungkook had clear disapproval painted on his face. Namjoon elbowed him, "It will be temporary. I wanted your doctor."
"Uhhh...Dr..." Yoongi pointed to Jimin with his eyebrows furrowed like he was thinking way too hard about his name.
Jimin got offended especially after their previous encounter in the parking lot. Well, it had been two nights ago but still. He was hurt at how invisible he was compared to the rest of the interns.
"Park. Park Jimin." He finished for him.
"Ahh! Yes, Dr. Park, you will be with me." He said casually as he moved past him to the next.
Jimin turned and glanced over to his new colleagues and frowned. The three of them were clearly disappointed with their assigned residents.

"Why was my surgery moved again?"
Jungkook slowly approached the clearly angry man. He'd read about him before coming in, but not in too much detail.
Basically, Dr. Kim Taehyung the neurosurgeon at Medica Zone was a fifth year resident. He was around thirty years old with a lot of successful surgeries. He was well recognized as one of the best neurosurgeons in the world and one of the hardest to work with.
Not only was he cocky and arrogant, but just irksome in some ways. At least that's what the rumors said. He couldn't blame Taehyung for being cocky or arrogant. With the success he had there was no other way to be.
Plus, his ideal resident Dr. Kim Seokjin, the plastic surgeon, wasn't much different than him. The only problem was he didn't want to do neurosurgery and that would make it harder to tolerate him.
"Excuse m—" before Jungkook could finish, Taehyung went past him ignoring his presence.
"Can someone explain to me why my surgery was postponed?"
"Well, the face transplant was—"
"Of course. The face transplant is more important than a tumor in the brain!"
A face transplant? Jungkook was literally punching the air. That would be incredible to witness! Yet, here he was nowhere near it.
Jungkook cleared his throat, "Dr. Kim?"
"What?" He snapped turning around. Once he saw him he relaxed, adjusting his lab coat. "I do apologize. How can I help you?"
"I'm Dr. Jeon an intern—"
"Ahh! Yeah, yeah, Dr. Min told me about you. You want to see a brain tumor?" He asked with wide eyes.
"Umm...sure."
"Great. Follow me. I need to call someone real quick."
He rushed to the nearest phone on the wall and dialed an extension. Cocky? Arrogant? Not the impression Jungkook was getting.
More like weird and awkward. He never thought beautiful people had that problem. Because of course, Dr. Kim Taehyung was drop dead gorgeous.
His light brown straight hair almost covered his dark brown eyes. He was tall, elegant, golden skinned and well framed. The navy blue scrubs underneath his lab coat hugged his body perfectly. And then again, he was just so awkward.
Then he recalled Namjoon who was the same exact way. Beautiful, lanky, and awkward. They would've been a perfect match.
"Dr. Kim, I wanted to let you know that thanks to your face transplant my tumor is getting pushed back another day."
There was some talking on the phone and Taehyung's face was unreadable, "Oh you dick! Such a damn dick. Yeah, yeah, fuck you too."
Jungkook stood behind him with wide eyes looking around to see if anyone was listening. Everyone kept walking by not minding the cursing.
Suddenly, Taehyung bursted into laughter. "I'll see you later for drinks. I hope your face surgery goes well."
Once he hung up he turned around with a serious expression. "Alright then, moving on. We have to take the patient down for an MRI just to see if there's been any changes."
Jungkook nodded and followed him behind hoping that by the next shift he'd have a different resident.
