It had been a week since the ball, and Goh was settling into the servant's life one more. He was no longer the boy posing as a maiden who had danced with Prince Ash, he was Goh, the servant boy. He had grown used to the endless whining of Misty and Serena, who had never danced with the Prince, and were jealous of the beautiful girl who did. They forever moaned about how they would be with their 'dear Prince' if that 'silly girl' hadn't hogged him all evening. The nerve of her, running off like that! The Prince's spirits had been ruined all evening, he was just moping over a shoe. Misty and Serena hoped she had fallen, one-shoed, into a hole, and gotten stuck there. Sometimes, when he was really annoyed, Goh wanted to shout, 'I'm right here, you stupid girls!', but thought better of it. He didn't want anyone to know of his time at the ball. He wished he could have another night like it, to spend just a little more time with the Prince. Throughout the course of the week Goh had hoped a thousand times, but he knew it would never happen. Not even his fairy godmother could get him to see the Prince again. To hold his hand, look into his eyes. Those experiences lived vividly in Goh's imagination; even more so when he was looking out of that third floor window, the place he'd seen his fairy godmother that fateful day. The palace shone even brighter than it had that evening, causing Goh to wonder what the Prince may be doing at that moment. He never thought that that may be answered by a knock at the front door.
