Part 8 - The bell rings

Unfortunately, the passage of time meant the dance, and the moment, would be ending soon. And as the music slowed down, Goh remembered something. At the end of the dance, it was customary for the featured couple to share a kiss. But would he still kiss me, even knowing I'm really a boy? Dancing was one thing, but a kiss was on a whole other level. Goh's heart pounded even harder, and he blushed just thinking about kissing Prince Ash. The night has been perfect, all he had ever dreamed. Perhaps...? But, before Goh could wonder anymore, a bell began tolling.

ONCE,

Goh put his hands to his mouth in shock, pulling away from Ash.

TWICE,

He turned and ran away. Prince Ash reached out his hand.

"H-hey! Wait!"

THREE, FOUR TIMES,

He started to run after Goh.

FIVE, SIX, SEVEN TIMES,

Goh nearly tripped-

EIGHT,

His shoe flew off his foot. He didn't turn back. There was no time.

NINE, TEN,

Ash picked up the discarded shoe. In one last attempt, he called to his dance partner:

ELEVEN,

"Please! I never got-"

TWELVE.

"-Your name..."
