𝓢hawn Hunter and Phoebe— used to be Baldwin— met in elementary school and from the very second their eyes met, Shawn knew that girl was going to be his wife.
Throughout all the ups and downs, they ended up getting married and had a beautiful baby girl they named Karissa Abbey Hunter. While Cory and Topanga moved to New York, Shawn and Phoebe decided on staying in Philadelphia. They thought it would be better for Karissa to grow up in the picket fence kind of neighborhood instead of the big city.
It's a good thing too, considering if they moved, Karissa never would've met her best friend, Jamie. The two were friends since they were two years old and have been nearly inseparable ever since. Karissa even, purposefully, got herself held back to be in Jamie's grade.
Growing up, Karissa was a relatively good child, if you exclude her love of pranks. Although, there was an incident that resulted in her being expelled.
Shawn and Phoebe, decided to move to New York over summer break. Karissa got a modeling job opportunity and they wanted to be supportive of her. They listed the pros and cons and came up with Karissa would be able to pursue this career, she could go to the school where their best friend is a teacher, she needed a new school anyways, and they always liked New York. So, they packed up and came to the big city.
The school year that would lead to a romance with a Texan boy, but not without some bumps along the way.
