Addicted To You

Chapter 3

  If I were wiser, I wouldn't have fallen in love with someone who break me in the end. But sometimes I can't help but be stupid.

  "Ashley." Is all I manage to squeak out. Ashley Benet my best friend was making out with Jack Gilinksy. Jack Gilinsky the boy I thought liked me was making out with Ashley Benet.
  "Oh hey Sky! Having fun yet!" She smirks.
  "Jack?" I say ignoring Ashley.
  "I'm so sorr..." He tries to say.
  "You know what Jack you have fun I'm done!" I tear up and turn around to walk out the door.
  "Twinkles wait!" He says grabbing my arm.
  "My names Skylar! Don't call me that Gilinsky!" I yell I look in his eyes, he looks so hurt. "Ever again..." I jerk my arm away.
  "Please just don't do this let me explain." He cries as I walk away.
  I run into my house crying harder than I ever have.
  "Sky what's wrong? Come here." Sam sighs wrapping his arms around me. "Sky what's wrong? Why are you crying?" He makes me look at him.
  "I can't do anything I promised him!" I sob breathing heavily, I just want to break my one year clean streak. But I can't even if he betrayed me, I won't break my promise.
  "What do you mean? What did you promise? Sky what's wrong?!" He demands.
  "Jack! Jacks whats wrong! Jack and Ashley!"
  "What did he do?" He hisses.
  "I was looking for him at the party and I saw him making out with Ashley." I mumble. "I knew if I fell for the bad boy he'd break my heart. I should have listened to you..."
  "God damn it! I told you to stay away from him!" He yells.
  "Sammy stop yelling at me!" I yell back.
  "I'm sorry I'm just mad. Not at you. At Jack." There's a knock at the door. "If thats him I swear to god I'll kill him!" He storms toward the door.
  "Sam no let me get it." I grab his arm and walk towards the door I open it and Jacks standing there crying. "What?"
  "Skylar I'm so sorry! Please just let me explain. Please."
  "You have five minutes." I mumble walking outside and closing the door.
  "Okay so after you went to go talk to your friends, Ashley started trying to get really close with me. I was trying to find you and then she just started making out with me, and that's when you walked up." His voice cracks "Sky I didn't kiss her back I would have gotten her off me even if you didn't walk up."
  "Gilinsky I don't know. I don't know if I should believe you."
  "Stop calling me that!" He pleads.
  "Calling you what?"
  "Gilinsky. You call me that when you're mad at me. And I hate it."
  "Well I have a right to be mad."
  "Please believe me Sky."
  "I don't know..." He grabs my face and lightly places his lips on mine and kisses me. Its not a rough kiss like I imagined but a light passionate one. The shivers shoot up and down my spine. That's the first time Jack has ever kissed me and it's more perfect than I ever could have imagined.
  "I only want you." He whispers as much as I want to I can't forgive him, yet. I can't be one of those easy girls I have to be strong.
  "Jack stop. I'll see you tomorrow..." I push him off. He looks so hurt again.
  "I'm so sorry Twinkles."
  "Bye Jack." I shut the door and fall against it crying even harder now.
