Caroline's POV

    It has been a year, since we found out Someone is after Hope, and we may have found out who. But, I wont let Davina ruin Hope's happiness. 

    I said, " Nik, It has been a year, since we found out! I am afraid Hope will find out, or that the weapon is real."

  Nik said, " I am sure she hasn't even figured it out, yet."

  I rolled my eyes, and said, " You do realize she is your daughter, right? You once found out that, I was sneaking out of the house, because I was worried about Hayley, Which it took you a year to find out!"

  He said, " Lets just tell Hope."

  I said, " And have her worry about it every second. Another thing, she gets from you. She is finally happy with Ryan, I don't want to ruin that. She has lost everything, and needs to finally be happy."

    He said, " I don't bloody care! Hope is the only one that can give us a lead."

   I said, " That will also have her return to those memories, when she lost her humanity! Do you really want her to go through that? She killed many, and she was upset for two freaking weeks!"

   He huffed and said, " After all, she is her father's daughter."

   Then, he snapped my neck, and everything went black. 

  Hope's POV

     It has been a year, since Ryan and I went on our first date. We are happy, and in love even more. Lizzie has been staying with us for a month, because she wants to learn more spells, that Alaric won't allow to be learned at the school. I feel like my Aunts, Uncles, Mom, and my dad have been hiding something from me, and I intend to find it out. 

  Anyway, I woke up, and Ryan pulled me closer to him. I said, " We have to get up."

  I turned in his arms, and he said, " Why? I want to stay in your arms forever."

   I said, " Yeah, well I do have to talk to my family."

   I moved out of his arms, and put Ryan's shirt on, that is on the floor. Just then, Dad barged into the room. I said, " Dad!"

   He said, " Hope, I need to speak with you."

  I said, " Get out! I would like to get dressed."

  He nodded, and left my room. Ryan sat up, and said, " What is that about?"

  I went to the closet, and put on my shorts, my blue tank top, and my green boots. I said, " I am going to find out, right now."

  He said, " Be careful."

  I said, " He is my father, he won't hurt me."

     He nodded, and I walked out of the room. I seen Dad in the hallway, and he said, " All of us have been hiding something from you." 

  I said, " I figured that. Now, do I need to beat it out of someone?"

  He said, " No. Look someone is after you."

  I said, " Shocker!"

   He gave me a look, and I said, " Look, I am the Tribrid, everyone is after me."

  He said, " That is because you inherited my enemies. One has a weapon that can kill you." 

  I said, " Are we sure that isn't an empty threat? Cleo burned down the red oak tree that can kill me."

   He said, " Yeah, well someone found a branch of it. I need your help."

  I said, " What do you need?"
