15.5. Eret

TWs: Mentions of an abusive parent, mention of death, mentions of alcohol, panic

[[Toby's POV]]

     Lani lead us to the familiar house with the familiar person within the house. After Lani and I's mom.. passed and when dad would drink to much, Eret would pick us up to keep us safe and they'd became an older sibling to us. Even a few years ago, before Rylan came along, Tommy and I stayed with Eret for a few days. 

     Lani walked up to the door and knocked. A few moments later, the door opened and there stood Eret. She quickly brought me and Lani into a tight hug, "Oh I've missed you two so much."

     "We missed you too," Lani and I said in unison. Eret released from the hug, "Well then come and visit me more, you too Tommy" he chuckled. Eret welcomed us 4 inside, "You coming inside, kiddo?" I looked behind me and saw Rylan still standing outside. Tommy walked towards him, "Come on King, this place is safe. I promise." 

Flashback... 

Rylan stood outside of Dadza and Mumza's shop.

I raised an eyebrow,

Tommy walked towards him,

"Ry.. you can come inside you know."

"Scared..,"

He mumbled. 

Tommy took his hand,

"Come on King, this place is safe. I promise."

Flashback end...

     Tommy took his hand and gently pulled him inside [[this is platonic, don't make it weird]] . I smiled a bit, I took my shoes off and placed them down. Lani did the same. 

     I looked around, the house hasn't changed at all. Same couch, same walls, same curtains. I liked it, I liked the feeling of comfort. Lani flopped onto the couch and I took what was left of it. Tommy and Ry sat in front of the couch, while Eret sat on the rug, "Has anyone's pronouns changed?" "I'm still Big Man Tommy," Tommy grinned. Lani and I shook our heads. "How about you, kiddo?" Eret said to Ry, "Rylan..," he figited with his hands, "he/him." Eret smiled, "Alright!"
