6. Drunk - Dazed

''You're right, someone did try to kill me. Dont even think about telling this to Rebecca, I don't want to drag her in this mess. It could be dangerous.'' Hannah warned Spencer.
''Okay, so tell me what happened.''
''I don't know who it was. I didn't see the person's face, it was covered.''

''What kind of clothes was he wearing ?'' Spencer asked.
''He ?''
''He was probably a guy wasn't he ? And that too a strong one. I mean you knocked out the royal guards so someone else shouldn't be a problem right ?''
''Yeah, you're right. He seemed too strong.''
''Moving on.''

''He wore a full black outfit. He looked like a hired assassin or something.
All I know is he wasn't a thief because he didn't steal anything, he tried to attack me as soon as I turned around. But why would someone want to kill me ?'' Hannah asked.
''Maybe it was a Royal Guard.'' Hannah wondered.
''No, it can't be. Royal Guards don't kill humans and they have no reason to attack you.'' Spencer denied her claims.
''Then how would you explain last time ?'' Hannah raised a brow.

''Last time was----''
''Wait a second.''
''What happened ?''
''The person had a very different smell.'' Hannah closed her eyes to remind her of that scent.
''What ?''
''Yeah, I think I know the smell but I cant seem to remember what it resembles.''
''Try to remember, maybe we can find him using it.''
''I can't seem to remember.'' Hannah furrowed her eyebrows.
''Its alright. Let's try tomorrow morning, now you should go and rest.'' Spencer suggested as Hannah nodded in agreement. She walked towards the stairs but turned around to look at Spencer.

''Spencer, Thank you for today.'' Hannah flashed a genuine smile.
''Anytime for you.''

Next morning,
They reach the office which is decorated well and then enters Chairman whom all the staff welcome and congratulate.

''What is all this ? Why didn't you tell me about this party before ?'' Stephen whispered to Mara.
''I only thought of keeping her busy by giving her work, I didnt knew it would turn out like this.'' Mara whispered back.

''Thank you so much all of you for your warm wishes & support ! Let's do our best !'' Stephen spoke as everyone applauded and cheered.

''Hannah, what have you decided next ?'' Mara asked Hannah.
''Ma'am i've updated everything to you. Please do check it once.''
''Okay. Office party then celebration at a club ?''
''Yeah, we took a poll so most of the votes came for this option.''
''Let's head to the club !'' Everyone cheered.

At the club ---

''Hannah, are you alright? You don't like loud places but you still chose the club ?'' Rebecca had to almost yell because of the loud music.
''Yeah, most votes were for this location so I couldn't cancel it just because I don't like it.'' Hannah shrugged as Rebecca gave her a sympathetic look.
''I'm having a really bad headache do you have tabs ?''
''Yeah they're in my purse. It's in the car do you want me to come along ?''
''No it's fine you enjoy, i'll just go and get it.'' Hannah steps out from the club, gets the tablets and comes back in.

Meanwhile,

''Can't we leave Stephen ?'' Mara asked looking exhaustedly at Stephen.

''Mara it hasn't been long since we came here. I mean they took a lot of effort planning this. It won't look good if we leave right away. Why, are you not feeling good ?''
''There are just too many humans here and i'm a bit tired.''
''If you aren't feeling well then we should leave.'' Stephen said concerned.
''No, you're right it'll look weird if we both leave right away. You should stay i'll go home and get some rest.''

''Are you sure you'll be fine ? I'll ask Yeomna (Damein) to accompany you---''
''Thank you Haemo--- Stephen. But I can go by myself. See you at home.''
