11. Memories are more valuable

''I'm sorry I came unannounced. Actually I wanted to discuss some business with you, if you are not busy at the moment.'' Amanda said as Hannah nodded.

''I hope you know that Shin Industries is the biggest land construction company in South Korea. We are working on a big project. I'll come straight to the point, we're interested in your land in Daegu. I assure you we'll give you an appropriate quote for your land.
So, what are your thoughts about it ?''

''Well, if you ask me so suddenly.'' Hannah said nervously.
''Take your time to think.''

''Frankly speaking, it's my ancestral land. And there are not many things left for me as memories, I don't wish to sell that land. Im sorry but i'll decline this offer.'' Hannah said without hesitation.
''Think about it, the quote is 3 times more than the market value.'' Amanda's convincing was interrupted by a knock on the cabin door.
''The chairman's room in 10 minutes, Hannah.'' The staff instructed as Hannah nodded in reply.
''I'm sorry I took a lot of your time. I'll be leaving now. Do think about my offer.''
''Thank you so much.''

Amanda leaves the office and gets in her car where someone is already waiting for her.

''She's too dumb and an emotional fool. She instantly said no to sell that land. Who do you think will give her that much money just for her crap piece of land ?'' She spat out.
''Dont worry, we have other ways.''

Stephen's cabin,

''We've prepared everything as you had asked sir.''
''Okay, You may leave.'' Stephen said without looking at Hannah. She was about to walk out when she pauses and turns around.

K - Entertainment took over Jaiden's company. Actually I also---''
''You don't need to explain yourself Hannah. I trust my employees more than anything.'' Stephen said giving an assuring smile.

''Thank you sir.''

Hannah leaves the cabin only to get shot with questions by Rebecca.
''Did you meet Jaiden ? And what are these rumours i'm hearing ? Spencer took Jaiden as a member of K - Entertainment ?''
''Yeah, that's not a rumour. A lot happens these days with Spencer around.'' Hannah slumped into her chair.

''By the way, who was that creepy looking woman with whom you were chatting ?''
''That's Amanda.''
''The same Amanda who was going to make us homeless ?''
''She came here with an offer for me.''

''Offer ?''
''You remember my ancestral land in Daegu ?''
''That place where you used to go a lot back in the day ?''
''Yeah. She wants to buy that. Basically her company is working on a big project and they are interested in my land.''
''So you are not going to sell it, are you ?''
''Aniyo, not at any cost. I have a lot of memories with that place, and plus it's where......
It's where dad is. I'm not gonna give that land to anyone, not until i'm alive.'' Hannah said with sad eyes as Rebecca patted her.

''Right, I forgot to tell you. I'll be visiting Jaiden everyday starting today until he recovers.''
''I knew it even if you didn't tell me.'' Hannah said giving her a teasing smile.
''Oh please, don't start with that again.''

''But jokes apart you should, he shouldn't feel alone. Don't worry I can manage without you.''

At night,

Hannah drops Rebecca to the hospital and she gets back home.

''Hey Jaiden ! How ya doin ?'' Rebecca sat near the bed.
''I'm good.'' Jaiden said trying to sit up when Rebecca stopped him.
''No, no it's fine ! Please lie down you need rest.''
''Thanks. But you came again ? You did visit me in the morning.''
''Wae ? You don't like me visiting you ?''
''No ! No ! It's not like that. I was just concerned if you are tired cause you are coming directly from work.''
''Great then ! You can expect me everyday.''
''Rebecca, isn't that too much for you ? I mean you are already visiting me every evening.'' Jaiden asked concerned.
''I don't think it would be too much.''
''Thank you so much, Ryu.'' He said giving Rebecca butterflies. Her cheeks burned as she felt like escaping from there. Jaiden's sweet stare was too much for her to take. And as if god was listening to her prayers, Damein entered the room.

''Oh, I didn't know you had company.'' He said looking at Jaiden then at Rebecca.
''Hey, I didn't expect you here.'' Rebecca said genuinely surprised.
''Well i'm taking care of Jaiden's errands for Stephen, what about you ?''

''I'm just here to visit him.''
''I see. Well then i'll leave. I was just here to check up on you.''
'Thanks.'' Jaiden said.

''Hi Rebec---
Where's Rebecca, why are you alone ?'' Spencer asked when only Hannah entered the living room.
''How rude.'' she muttered.
''I didn't know you expected me to say hi to you ?''
''I don't.'' She immediately retorted.
''Where's Rebecca ?''
''She has some things to take care of. She'll be late for a few days.''

''Why ? You had something to tell her ?''
''Well she was going to make something for me.''
''What ?''
''Something call 'ramyeon'.'' He said making Hannah giggle.
''You want to have ramyeon ? Even you can make it. It's very easy, you don't need to trouble Rebecca for it.''
''Then can you make it ? I've had your food before and it sucks.'' He challenged her.

''I had already warned you that i'm not a really good cook.'' She defended the last incident.
''And rameyon is pretty simple to make. I think you don't know but i'm a ramen expert. Nobody can make ramen like I can.''
''Not even Rebecca ?''
''Not even Rebecca.''
''Then prove it.''
''You'll be licking the chopsticks, don't complain me when you're addicted to it.''
''Prove your words, love.''

Hannah puts the water to boil, and adds ramen in it, chops the veggies like a pro and adds it in, puts eggs in it, and a secret spice.

''What's that ?'' Spencer asked.
''That's my secret spice.''

She puts the dish in a bowl and serves it to Spencer.

''Go on taste it.'' She said to Spencer who was busy taking in the aroma of the broth.
''I hope it tastes as it smells.'' He said taking a bite as his eyes turned wide at the sudden burst of flavours in his mouth.
''I don't really wanna praise you but this is actually good. I want more.''
''Here you go ! Told ya.'' She said as she served him more.

''If we were in my realm I would have rewarded you.''
''You're a God, you can do that here too can't you ?''
''Let's go.'' He said placing the chopsticks on the bowl, as he held her hand and sprinted towards the rooftop.

''Hold on tight.''

Spencer slowly takes flight and soon they were so close it felt as if the stars were twinkling at Hannah. It looked so magical as if it was unreal. Hannah looks smilingly at Spencer.

''You like the night sky, right ?''

Hannah gazed at the moon and stars,

and Spencer at Hannah.
