I got inside my house angry as Manik follow behind me. I texted Cabir in the car telling him what happened. I turned around & glared at him as he vlose the door
“Tum kaise kr sakte ho ye..?”. I hissed trying not to yell at him.“ Tumhe pata hai mujhe kitna bura laga Cabir ko vaha akela chor kr ane pr”. I snapped
“He's a big boy, vo aapna diyan rkh sakta hai”. He sighed & I fought the urge to slap him again or shoot him
“Mummy”. I heard Manav cry making my eyes widen as I ran upstairs. I quickly walk in his room to see Navya was in phone & Manav is crying I panicked & ran up to him
“Baby”. I said pulling him on my lap & hug him. “Kya hua hai, kahi pr aagi hai kya..?”. I asked examining him. “Kuch hua hai kya”. I asked look at Navya
“Manav soo rha tha or achank se uth kr rone laga or tumhara nam lene lga m tumhe call kr he rhe thi itne m tum aa gye”. She explain & I nodded
“Kya hua baby”. I asked & he burried his face on my chest sniffing
“Aapne kaha tha k aap jaldi aa jaogi..?“. He cried against my chest. I sighed & hugged him tightly
“I am sorry baby”. I said as Manik sat beside me touching his hair
Manav lift his head up alittle & wiped his hear.“ Aap Daddy k sath thi..?”. He asked & I nodded
Manik smile down at him & took his out of my arm. “Now my big boy aide nhi royega”. He said softly walk toward the door as Manav put his head on Manik's shoulder
I sighed & look at Navya. “I am sorry & thanks for taking care of Manav”. I said. “Its ok or Manav bhi mere bete jaisa hai soo no need to thank me ab m chali hu”. She said walk out
I took my heels off & sighed before walk back downstairs. I heard Manik & Manav talk in the kitchen so I didn't walk in & listen to their conservation
“Mummy Cabir uncle k sath nhi thi”. Manav asked
“Vo uske sath he thi pr mere sath aye”. I heard Manik say & I sighed
“U were mad becoz of Cabir uncle ryt..?”. Manav said making my eyes widen & Manik chuckled. “Mene unko bola tha aap khish nhi honge”. He said & my eyes widened
“Tumhe kaha”. Manik said as I could hear amusement in his voice
“Haa”. Manav said as I walk back to the stairs & make noises making it seem like I just walk down. “Shh mumma aa rhe hai”. I heard his tiny voice as Manik chuckled at him again
I walked in the kitchen to see Manav sitting on the countet with his legs cross eating cookies & Manik sit on stool vlose to him
They both look at me. I raised an eyebrow
“Tum kya baatein kr rhe the”. I asked opening the fridge to get some milk for Manav
“u”. They said at the same time with blank faces. I look at them weirdly
Manav act & look just like Manik. It is so scary. Thats one of the reason I was always thinking about him while looking at Manav. 1 of the reason I never forget about Manik
“Ok fir”. I said giving the glass full of milk to Manav who took it thanking me & start drinking everything
“Tumhe sone jana chahiye Manav”. I said looking at Manav & he pout
“Mumma plzz mujhe nindh nhi aa rhe hai or kal schl bhi nhi hai”. He pout. “Plz mumma”. He said cutely putting his hand on my cheek lyk everytym he beg me for something. But it won't work this tym
“No”. I said sternly. “Go to bed now”. I said & he pout even more & crossed his arms over his chest. “Dad ko good night bolo”. I said & he uncrossed his arm
“Goodnight daddy”. He said moving closer to him & Manik kiss his forehead & pick him up
“Goodnight”. He replied softly. I took him in my arms & walk out of the kitchen

“Tum usse thori der or rhne dete”. Manik smile turn around. I roll my eyes
“Tum ab ja sakte ho”. I said walking to the kitchen to turn lights off
I felt him behind me before he pull me closer. “Tum abhi bhi gussa ho usko le kr”. He asked & I push him off but he didn't let me
“Jao”. I snapped push him off. “& stop touching me”
“I am sorry m bs gussa th..”. He start but I cut him off
“Or tumhe koi ryt nhi hai gussa hone ka”. I said. “Kya hota agr Cabir ki koi girlfrnd nhi hoti to”. I said & his expression harden. “Kya hota..? Tum mujhe kiss krte or kuch pagal sa calim krte”. I snapped & walk closer to me
“I love u I want u in my life back humare bich m koi nhi ayega”. He said pulling me close to him. “Agr uske girlfrnd nhi hoti to uske liye acha nhi hota”. He said hardly. “Jab bat tum pr ati hai to m selfish ho jata hu or tumhe ye bat pata hai. M vahi isaan hu m change nhi hua hu”. He said as my heart beat faster. “I am not leaving u to anyone u're mine alone”. Je said lowly against my ear as I shivered
I push him away & glare at him
“Jao yaha se”. I said feeling my eyes watering. “Plzz chale jao”
He stood there staring at me for a moment before sighing
“I'll call u guys tomorrow”. He said softly he walk up to me putting his finger under my chin lifting my head up. “Tum or Manav he mere liye sab maine lagte ho”. He said before kissing my cheek softly & walking out of the door
