I woke up to a hand going through my hair I open my eyes slowly expect to see Manik but gasp at the person infront of me
“Mom”. I quickly sitting up
“Nandini ”. She said with a blank face
I look around nervously it was already dark outside. “How did u get in here..?”
“Is that how u greet me? U haven't seen me in months”
I look at her not saying anything. “Manik ne mujhe sab bata diya hai”. I said look at her expecting a reaction from her

I shook my head lightly. “U're trying to play with my mind aren't u? Sorry its not working”. I snapped. “U did it”
“He is lying for god sake u want me to have prblms with things I didn't do?”. She said loudly her eyes start watering

I sigh still not look at her. “Mom-”
“Manik is dangerous believe me u have no idea what this man is capable of”
“Oh I know what he is capable of I married him”. I said look at her
“So u should know that he is going to hurt me for things I didn't do”. She said wiping her tears
“He just want to takw Kevin in jail”. I shrugged
“If u know Manik as much as u say u do u would know that bring Kevin to jail won't satisfy him”. I almost laugh at the panic in her voice. “U should have seen Kevin after-”. She stop & I raise my eyebrows at her
“After what? So u saw Kevin?”. I nodded. “So u do have something to do with all this”. I confirm try not to cry
She sigh wiping more tears from her face. “Sweetheart I am doing this for us & Manav I want to protect u trust me on this”
“U knew about the accident that kill my child u stole my father's money & destroy all the things he work for don't u dare talk about my son”. I said through gritted teeth
